Sedins/Burrows
Kes/Sammy/???
???/Malholtra/???
Random crap

Trading Raymond would be an odd move because the Canucks just dealt Grabner, the closest guy to replacing Raymond.

Unless Filatov is ready to be a top 6 winger NOW, that deal would rely on Shirokov/Hodgson/Schroeder filling out our top 9.

Kind of scary for a team trying to win now.

I call shenanigans!

The previous person's source was supposedly Dreger, but Dreger confirmed that it was BS. This is probably a similar situation.

Thats like justfying trades of other prospects in the past who were highly touted and turned out as well as expected. Those trades are known as bad trades.
A prospect is a prospect, he may or may not work out and there seems to be issues there. Raymond isn't a slouch, and he's a good return, imo, for an unproven prospect who seems to want out.

FOR THE LOVE OF G-D, MAKE THIS MADNESS STOP ALREADY

Filatov simply isn't going to be traded in any Bieksa deal. It's not happening. He's not being dumped. He's in the future plans of the Jackets. These trade ideas don't make any sense. This particular "rumor" has been repeated over and over by many people, few of which have any credibility or other confirming sources.

Please, please, make it stop!

Can't be true, Why does Vancouver do that? They are in a win now situation.

Whoever said this is a moron because the Jackets can't afford to take on Bieska's contract without sending back almost equal amount.

Vancouver is almost as bad as Toronto. "Please take Bieska, please please please, but overpay for him...". Just like their "Please please please take Kaberle we only want Nash and Voracek..."..."But but Columbus needs a #4 defender so badly....and they should be willing to give up top 6 forwards and picks for them!" Uhhh what?

Um if the Jackets were going to overpay for someone, it wouldn't be for a guy like Bieska, which we already have, and his name is Strahlman and he isn't going to be awarded 3.75M in arbitration.

How is this terrible for the Jackets? This is a great return for someone as unproven as Filatov.

Filatov has said nothing about wanting out of Colombus. If anything hes just eager to be coming back to North America.

I never said anything about Raymond, but Filatov is one of the best offensive prospects in the league right now, and you don't just give that up.

The Jackets IMO would definitly regret trading him if they did, 5 years from now.

baseless/sourceless "rumor" = lock.

come back when there's a legitimate source to lean on.
