I am! Omark is my little dirty secret! Bure v2!

I was also excited when Huselius moved to Columbus and I thought he would end up top 10 in scoring. Or when I thought Anton Stralman would be competing for the Calder. Or Backstrom being too slow and going back to SEL after his first training camp.

The list goes on and on... I guess I've made some bad calls lol!

But Omark.. man.. thats a no brainer! 20g 20a!

He has the biggest boom or bust potential.

I don't know why, but I see him ending up like Schremp as a low.

Yeah I'm excited to see what he can do in the NHL. We know he has talent. He's 23 I think now so he's not a kid anymore he should be mostly developed. Lets wait and see now.

It will be interesting to see how he fits in and how Renney will set up the team.

Omark will make a move for the Calder scoring 23G 37A.

It wouldn't surprise me if Oilers trade him away as soon as possible so they can focus marketing on their poster boys.

I guarantee Omark will have a career in the NHL because this is a player that you can slot on any line yet has the offensive instincts to be a top six player. His stock is going to rise as soon as people see him play. Other than having a bit of an attitude I can't believe some of the people on this board comparing him to Schremp. Omark has the same skill level but can skate and isn't allergic to the corners or carrying the puck over the offensive blueline. Wait and see, he'll be a fan favorite and his offensive stats will be pure bonus. I really hope he makes the club out of camp.
Yeah, but can he play defense...I think that is what most people are talking about when he is compared to Schremp

He can play defense, the russians made sure of that. Another thing that is really special with Omark is his ability as goal scorer. The kid got no nerves at all. The more pressure the better he plays. Did you see how he undressed Vokoun in the WHC semi? It looked so easy, for him it wasn't a question of "if", he just knew he was going to put the puck in the net.
