Winning % or total fights picked correctly.

Also I think if a fight goes to a draw no one should gain or lose points...

I agree on both counts. I also thought maybe if both of those are tied then we could do # of prelim fights correctly picked. But I'm not going to do this by event although we could have a winner for each event I suppose. I thought like a standings thing would be better. Maybe we could go to the end of the year and then start over?

I am really not a fan of losing points for picking wrong. It doesnt encourage picking of close fights. Also it penalizes people for flukes like Hamill beating Jones via getting beaten half to death or horrible judges decisions like Shogun vs. Machida.

I understand that the goal is to try to stop people from guessing but why worry about that. If you are at all knowledgeable about the sport you should have a much better prediction record than someone who just guesses.

Tell you what. I'll post a poll on it. I already did that standings and they took me about an hour because I messed up but I'll figure it out with just wins if the people want it.

Even if we decide against the penalty i think it should count for the event that has already passed because it may have effected the way some people picked.
