So Matt Moulson and the Islanders have inked a one year, $2.45M deal, avoiding arbitration...not bad for a 30 goal scorer.

Some of you have suggested we make a game out of arbitration week...sounds good to me! Let's hear your predictions on the contract dollars the following players will be awarded (or sign for)

Bonus Arbitration Hearing: Ilya Kovalchuk (NHLPA vs NHL) (3points)

Here is how scoring will work:

*You will get a point for every player you are within 250k of the actual ruling (or if that players is signed by the team, the yearly cap hit)

*Then, you get a bonus of 3 points by picking the NHL or NHLPA (if the case actually goes to an arbitrator...which I still am doubting happens)

*The contest and entries will be frozen at noon tomorrow. (screen shots taken, thread frozen) (should any player sign before midnight tonight he will be eliminated from the game)

The winner of the contest will receive a copy of EA Sports NHL 11 on their choice of gaming platform when the game is released in September. (Plus will get to whip my ass playing the game online)

Hes probably like every bad player in NHL 10, he's so bad that his AI goalie will stand on his head and he'll score some turd goal like a wrister from the blueline that kicks out into the slot with your goalie down and out and beat you 1-0.

I completely understand this situation, and have had it happen to me. Shots were like 30-5 in my favor. 1-0 loss for me.

Come to think about it, I'm definitely buying it. NHL 09 and 10 were simply amazing and progressed tremendously. I'm just bitter.
