Nashville still needs... - What do you think the final piece to the roster is?

Does anyone think Niemi to Nashville is a possibility? I'm not advocating this, but it is an intriguing idea. We would obviously have to clear salary to fit in our self imposed budget, and he might have to take a slight pay cut, but we do need a backup.

Personally, I'm fine with Dekanich, but it would be nice to have a Stanley Cup winner in net.

Not on my wish list. Niemi is a 1A goaltender. We need a schmoe not a God.

I have to say it. I look at Tomas Kaberle's contract, his skill set, length of contract, and price tag and he screams trade deadline acquisition for the Preds.

Most will groan and say "No way." But he is an offensive defenseman who can eat 18 minutes a game and be a PP QB. Imagine a back line of Weber-Suter and then Franson and Kaberle.

He's got Grebeshekov written all over him.
