Rangers' Beyond the Top 20 Prospects POLL (#21)

Well the top 20 is over and Ryan Hollweg is the last Rangers prospect to make the cut. However, since there's still demand for a few of the guys left, I thought I would extend the poll a little more.

I will only go up to #25. No new prospects will be added. If you want to vote for someone not on the list. please vote other and indicate your choice in a reply.

1) Fedor Tjutin
2) Henrik Lundqvist
3) Josef Balej
4) Hugh Jessiman
5) Thomas Pock
6) Petr Prucha
7) Maxim Kondratiev
8) Jarkko Immonen
9) Ivan Baranka
10) Garth Murray
11) Nigel Dawes
12) David Liffiton
13) Dominic Moore
14) Marcus Jonasen
15) Dwight Helminen
16) Bryce Lampman
17) Alexandre Giroux
18) Ken Roche
19) Chad Wiseman
20) Ryan Hollweg

Went with Moore. He was drafted in the 5th round I believe of a deep draft last year and put up pretty good numbers in college. Could be a sleeper.

Still need more votes to call....

-Martz was never added to the poll. He was one of the options in the last vote in, but didn't make the cut.

-Larry, wha't the deal with Reese? He was the last prospect chosen (save the overage Marek) in the most recent draft, so he should be on the bottom of the totem pole. Never seen him play (natch), but he seems to be a slightly undersized skill defenseman. He put up a lot of points for the Pittsburgh Forge in the NAHL (and how does the NAHL compare to the USHL?), but didn't provide much offense his freshman season at forward.

I'm going out on a limb wiht Reese...I saw him play three games late in the year with Harvard (two in the NCAAs) and I was impressed and he got results...Did good for a Freshman...Also think he made the US WJ squad but couldn't go because of an injury...BTW, I like Taylor too...

I'll second that. I watched him play a few times, he was used sparingly, maybe becuase of his injuries. But in the ECAC championship game i thought he was solid, got an assist and played with confidence. He still needs to get bigger. He's behind Noah Welch right now, but that'll give him the time he needs to improve.

OK, we've got 50+ votes, so I'll call Taylor the winner and start the next poll.
