With all the new acqusitions where will the bolts be at the end of 82 games next year? IMO they will be a 7th or 8th seed, just one season away from actually contending

Same thing as last year for me. If they make 8 seed... bonus. If not, 9-10.

While the team is looking better we have to remember that there will be a new system in place, it won't take a week to get it to work, rather months, maybe more.

So we need to have some patience, but with that said I do hope for a playoff place.

as an outsider i think the sky is the limit in 11-12. 10-11 is more of a crap shoot.
if vinny is better and stamkos a little better and st louis as good as he was last season they should make the playoffs with a little goaltending.

but its possible that vinny doesnt get better, that stamkos has a little sophmore slide, and marty shows his age a little. were that to happen i would not be discouraged. stamkos 3rd season could be hart level and the gel of the new program be full realized in a season.

Last season was his sophomore season, but still a valid opinion.

I'd love it, but I don't think it's happening this year. I'll go with the flow and guess that we could squeak in, but probably fall just short. Call it 10th place this season, but only miss the playoffs by 2 or 4 points.

Just like last season we could be the 5th-11th seed by about a difference of 10-15 points. Who knows at this point.

If they take care of games early like they should have last year they should be in contention for playoffs. No more of those overtime losses. 12 overtime losses is a bunch of points to be had. There were also a bunch of games lost in the 3rd period. Get those turned around and more points scored from players who arnt Stamkos and St. Louis then we have some things going for us. I think our defense is a little bit improved over last year. If anything we will be closer to the playoffs this year than the last two years. Dont know what that means though.

Look up what this means before using it in a sentence again.

If the Bolts win half the shootouts they are in the postseason. Ellis should be as good as Nitty.
