This team is awful they have no confidence. We really need a change quick the lotto pick might not be such a bad thing.

MAybe next up drafting Courtrier... or somehow trading for Schenn, he was great in the juniors (well besides the teams epic Flames like collapse in the third period)

After signing Jokinen and Tanguay in the off-season I thought this team had a good shot at a lottery pick....and there's a good chance of this happening. The move reeked of desparation on Sutter's part. What doesn't work before (Jokinen) will probably not work in the future, especially under the same management....and this has proven to be true.

He was incredibly underwhelming at the WJC. And I mean incredibly underwhelming.

I don't understand why people still question that signing. He's been great.

All of the big names are underwhelming... Larsson, Couturier, RNH. Don't see Landeskog enough to know.

However, in this draft it looks like the lottery pick teams are the ones getting screwed while the teams drafting slightly later are getting a guy who is just as likely to reach his potential. Which is where we will probably draft. 6th to 8th.

Expect to see a bunch of "off the board" picks and Pierre McGuire rants at the draft.

Yeah, and Tyler Seguin didn't even make the team last year, seems to be just fine.

RNH did not make the team, Landeskog did not play two full games due to injury and Larsson had a tremendous medal round, so based on WJC Couturier's stock declined the most.

Landeskog has been solid that is true. Also IF a big trade is in the cards it would be great to trade for Schenn... I really like his style of play.
