I also want you all to watch the scores of the games because the majority of the goals frolov scored in this video anyways were tying goals or go ahead goals. It says to me he can perform under pressure, I know those aren't all his goals, but I'm excited to see him in rangers blue!

Honestly... I think you guys are going to love this player. Have fun watching his game... keep an eye out for his O zone puck possession and prepare to have your mind blown. The puck just sticks to him.

He looks extremely strong in terms of puck possession in tight and hectic areas. His patience in front of the net is very impressive.

As a lifelong diehard Ranger fan that loves the Kings as well (been watching the Kings since the Gretzky days) I've seen a ton of Frolov thanks to Center Ice, and I'm happy that they got him at the price they did.

Expect some nice moves, a great puck possesion game, very good puck handling and protecting skills, and some solid defensive play. Frolov is a good two-way player who although has had his compete level question is actually quite the competitor. This is a guy that is going to help open up space for whoever is on his line. He might be a little inconsistent, but when he's on his game, he looks like he can flat out dominate.

However, inconsistency is the key here. I love the fact that we signed the guy, he can be inconsistent, and he's not physical at all for a guy his size. He reminds me of Jagr in the way he plays a little bit, but more attentive to defense.

physical in that he shys away from any physicality (won't take a hit, turn his back to protect the puck, etc), or just won't throw an open ice hit... i have no problem with the latter (i know you compared him to jagr just wanted to be clear)

Not saying we're contenders here atm, but still this gave me at least a tiny hope about a play off spot.
Solid signing, good deal that works for all of us.

Everybody was so concerned he would get a long term contract, so this is nice. Despite that it would have been nice with two years, I feel we have no reason to complain

Welcome Fro!

Puck Control

Sorry to see Fro go after so many years, but he didn't fit into the type of team Kings are building. If you don't play a two way game, your in the dog house under Murry, and that's what happened with Fro. I believe Fro will have a great year and would not be shocked to see him back to the 30 goal level ...Down low you can't get the puck away from him and he's a very talented player....Best of luck in NY......
