Al Trautwig... After that, he switched primarily to throwing pucks off of the boards and into the net during warm-ups.

Why is it that I can seriously imagine The Trout doing something like that?

The day after that happened we were playing street hockey. A car came down the block, so we stopped... and the guy threw a roll of electrical tape into our net. We jokes around about it since the guy just lived down the block. Probably the only reason I remember it happening, since I was 12.

I don't know. Sports archeologists like Trautwig should know better than to influence the game they are trying to study.

Yes, but The Trout is a mysterious man, one who is accompanied by many question marks.

I was a kid when that happened and I remember it.

Crazy, funny, stupid, and confusing all at the same time.

Never saw the 2 puck incident before. I would definitely buy whoever threw the puck a beer though that was pretty awsome.

I remember seeing that live and I was horrified when they dropped him... that's really really terrible. In hindsight knowing Modano was fine and had a productive career it is hilarious. I don't think Mike shares the same sentiment however
