I wanted to vote for Bryzgalov because I really like him and I'm sure Miller will get plenty of votes but it's Brodeur until he retires.

Got to agree with that, or unless he's palpably slowing down... which he's not.

I really wanted to vote Lundqvist though. Poor guy always has a crappy team in front of him.

Brodeur since he's actually won championships unlike the other best candidates for this.

Marty, even though he's been pretty ****** in pressure situations lately.

When he's on, he's absolutely incredible.

I'll still give this to Brodeur for now. Yeah, they have struggled in the playoffs, but I watched him play 6 unreal games against the Pens last year, so I'm stickin with him for now.

No kidding. Why are Howard or Fleury even on the list? Or even Rask? Several of these guys are not accomplished enough to be considered.

I voted for Marty but he's slipping. He obviously has a hard time carrying his game into April and May now, but he's probably the best regular season goalie still. Miller, Bryzgalov, Luongo are all close behind. This upcoming season is the one where Marty loses his crown IMO.

Im that guy that voted for Voukun. lol
Figured Id own up to that.

Id be really interested to see what he'd do on a good team, I was really happy Philly didnt trade for him. I dont expect him to win but thats who I wanted to vote for.

Went with Lundqvist. Brodeur got knocked out in a first round upset for the second straight year, hasn't been past the East semis since 2003. He even got pulled from Team Canada this year. Marty's going totally on reputation here.

Lundqvist literally has played on teams the past two seasons with no offense to speak of. He carried team Sweden to the Gold in 2006, has the longest goalless streak in Olympic history over the last two Olympics. I know he missed the playoffs this year but they have an overrated defense, a terible offense outside of Gaborik, and somehow have made the playoffs four of the last 5 seasons.

Heheh. Franken-tar is out to get you. Fear his insidious stare. I hear my avatar will be appearing on an episode of Criminal Minds in the near future. Maybe I should change my name to UnSub.

Ryan Miller had a big year. he is not the best. Brodeur is on the downward slide.

Lundquist is clearly the best.

You can't vote Brodeur with the way he played last year and during the playoffs, he is still great but well past his prime. The answer is easily Lundqvist. if a team like the Penguins had him they would be unstoppable.

...you complain about Fleury not being accomplished enough yet you throw Bryzgalov up there? Color me confused...
