Nothing was funnier than back in the day when they made Deb Kaufman interview Martinek. I'm convinced that they only did it to punish her; I mean, lots of foreign players can't speak English well, but Martinek was entirely incapable of communicating.

The fact that he looks like a crypt keeper doesn't help.

And he is still brutal.

My favorite Martinek memory is from his first NHL goal, it came in OT against Carolina. He didn't get the whole three star thing so when he comes out he did a little victory lap .
