Leblanc's impact on The Montreal Juniors

How will Leblanc's commitment to the Junior affect your ticket purchases?

I will probably go from 0 games per year to 1 or 2.

I might go to a game. I might've had he stayed in college too for that matter.

Who needs to watch a prospect play when you can have an opinion on any young guy without needing to see their game?

Same here. I went to a Game where they were commemorating Ray Bourque. Was nice.

Leblanc playing there doesn't really change my chance of going.
Speaking of which I don't think him playing there will affect ticket sales, unless he tears is up of course which would be great.

I'm 100% sure tickets sale will be better next year just because of him

I'll go three times at least and i'm from Québec. I'll also try catching him at Rempart games. Mmm I wonder if the fans will boo him or cheer him.

You're thinking in the mindset of an HFer. Which isn't the majority of Montrealers.

I mean they discovered PK Subban LAST YEAR!

We knew about PK over 2 years ago!

What are the chances you will see Average Joe say; Hey let's go get season tickets to watch the Junior to see Louis Leblanc develop!

I'm pretty sure they'll boo him. Quebec is so jealous of Montreal it's not even funny. Although, I'll be at "Le Colisee", cheering him as hell, no matter what people around me do.

I know you'll hate to hear it, and God knows how I feel dirty saying this, but he's a Quebec-born player. It actually has much bigger of an impact on much more people that you would think... unfortunately.

As for Subban, well people chanted his name in his first NHL game in Montreal. It's not like they didn't know him. They might not have followed him closely, but they knew who he was and what he was made of.

Althought I don't care about language and location issues, alot of people seem to think it's important to have a local product playing here, and I'm pretty sure that just for that reason, tickets selling will fare better, not to see him develop, but just because he's from here.

I'm 4 hours away from Montréal and 2 hours away from any LHJMQ teams, but I might stop by Victoriaville one afternoon if they play the Junior.

I've never been to a Junior's game before, but since I live in the Southwest part of Montreal, + I now work in Verdun (2 blocks away from the Auditorium), and the fact that Leblanc plays for them, I will certainly go check out 2 or 3 games this year. Add the fact that Avtsyn might suit up for the Junior as well, that would definitely get my attention and I might go check out up to 5 games. It would be like having the habs mini farm team in my backyard! Cheap thrills ahead!
