Maybe he wants to go to Banff?

It's very nice there.

At least add a link so this doesnt turn into a troll convention.
He wants to be traded back to the east or loaned to SEL/Europe to be closer to his family.

i hate players that wont play where they sign... even more than i hate calgary.
Former waiver fodder has no right to pick and choose where to play... suck it up and pull in the paychecks, or go home.

If this was us the media would be in a frenzy and there would already be a 100-page thread already in NHL talk.

But no, it's all quiet on the western front.

If you take the time to actually get all the facts...that is what he wants to do. Its on the rumour board, or over on canoe.ca

Pronger wanted to leave for his own reasons as well. Didn't stop people/media from piling on.

In other news, Sutter continues with his old fetish. Conroy signs a 1 year deal

Don't you know that Edmonton is the 6th 7th and 8th levels of hell and if you just drive 3hours south you can find eden? That is what the media keeps telling me.

But is there a link to this info? Otherwise this thread isn't long for this world...

I did get all the facts..... and fully understood what i was saying.

Im simply saying that i dislike when players make a legal commitment for a specified term... and then decide they cant do it half way through.

If he wants leave... fine.. like i said, go home. Im just saying if it happened in Edmonton and i cared a great deal more.. i would be non to pleased

no need to be snarky

So an AHL defenseman doesn't want to play for the Flambes! I don't feel that bad about Prongergate now...oh yeah, Philly has him...oops....Up The Prongers!! (In case someone doesn't know, Up The Prongers is a metal referance for a pretty good band!)

Meh. This isn't even thread worthy as far as I'm concerned. I hate the Flames as much as anyone, but who really cares about this? He wouldn't likely even be a top 4 defenseman on team in the KHL or SEL.

MEH

Of course it's a non-issue but it irritates me that it would have been blown out of proportion if this was a story about us.

Exactly...I can't stand the Flames either but this is a complete non issue.

Looks to me to be a desperate attempt to try and find an NHL player that wants out of Calgary. I have a suggestion...how about we wait until there really is a meaningful story (about a legitimate NHL player) instead of trying to manufacture something about a player that isn't even worth talking about.

He doesn't want out of Calgary -- he wants out of Abbotsford. As much as I'd like this to be the same as Pronger and Heatley, it isn't.
