Who did they add for next season and who did they lose from last years team.
Jon Sim and Jeremy Yablonski are on two way deals so I'm sure they'll see some games in Bridgeport.
Off the top of my head, Joel Rechlicz signed with Hershey so he's gone and Sean Bentivoglio I believe is playing in Germany next season. That's all I can remember off the top of my head.
This team is presently the worst offensive team I have ever seen. They lost over 120 goals from last season, thats 120 goals of 213 total goals if I recall and added only Sim who may or may not be in the AHL.

I'm pretty sure Ullstrom signed an entry level contract so i would assume he will play in Bridgeport. They need to sign a couple more forwards either way, the defense appears pretty set.
This team is going to really struggle to score goals if that is a good idea of what forward corp is going to look like. Although, I am looking forward to seeing Rakhshani in action. He's still a guy I'm pretty high on and definitely have hopes for him someday playing in the NHL. Also, if Ullstrom is indeed a Soundtiger as one or two posters have mentioned, I can see him getting some top-six minutes on a team that weak up front.
BTW, I'm really hoping both Martin and Hamonic start the year with the Isles. I'd like to see Petrov on the Island as well, although if he doesn't make the team out of camp would he in turn head to Bridgeport or go back to Russia? Thanks in advance.
Ullström has been quoted in Swedish hockey-media saying he will by all means play in North American next year. Whether it's in the NHL or the AHL remains to be seen.

As others have mentioned, I'm pretty sure Ullstrom is in North America this season. There's no Figren-like clause there that'd have him back in Sweden.
Also, one could assume that Romano will be given every chance to stick in BPort after having put up 36 points in 46 ECHL games. He is under Islander contract.
In addition, I suspect Gillies will spend most of the season up on the Island, even if not dressing.
But according to your list, I only see Marcinko and Haley up the middle, and they'd be the 3rd and 4th line guys.
Gotta be some AHL scorers brought in. CANNOT see the likes of Figren, Dibo, and Marcinko all magically getting up to 15 goal, 30 point land while Rakhshani gets 60 points.
We've also gotta see if one or both of Joensuu and Martin win a job on the Island.
There'll be additions, but at this point, they MUST be offensively capable. Even going into last season with the additions of Mauldin, Moore and Reich, and the return of Smith, I thought the team was terribly underskilled and undereffective. I say that having truly believed that Figren, Dibo, Marcinko, Martin and Romano would each get 20-50 points. Only Martin met expectations.
Matt Duffy Defenseman from Maine. Played a few games with Rochester last season.
Jordan Hill Defenseman from Sarnia. Was Katic's defense partner there.
Justin Taylor Forward who scored 60 points for the London Knights last year
I expect some of the prospects to be more exerienced, very hungry and making a better showing than last season.
And as a newcomer, I have a good feeling about Rahkshani. He could be 35g-30a=65 alone.
i think you might be over estimating Rahk, but i guess thats why they play the games. Im sure you'll see the tigers sign some experienced guys with some offense. but you can expect ullstrom and joennsuu to spend a lot of time down there, along with sim.....
i would NOT expect petrov to be in BPT...i fully expect him to make the isles regardless of whether he deserves it or not. im sure they want to make it very difficult for him to go back to russia....and the easiest way to make him go back is to not make the team. book it.

i tend to agree about petrov. you can already tell by the comments made by coaches, players at the evaluation camp. reminds me of the comments made about bailey in camp as an 18 year old. looking back, they were alluding to him staying in the NHL even early in camp (even after he got hurt).
i think it's also telling that they haven't looked at any other top6 forwards in the UFA market (what's left, anyway). Afinogenov, Stempniak, Kariya, etc. are still out of work and Petrov may be viewed as "good enough" to take a job out of camp and HOPEFULLY deliver enough (AND IMPROVE ENOUGH over the full year).

These 3 are depth and there impact to Bport will most likely be minimal. I expect atleast 2 of the 3 to be in Kalamazoo this season and getting shuttled from ECHL and AHL.

no doubt snow will add this year's version of: greg moore, greg mauldin, matt moulson (that worked out well) - but hopefully add a player in the alex giroux/keith aucoin mold!
just like to have to support JT, KO, JB in the NHL, you need the same support for the prospects in the AHL!

All three are interesting mino league signings.
Although unimportant, I'd be curious to see as to who is better between Taylor and Romano.
