How would Moulson feel, he scored more for us last year and got what on his contract??? 2.45m/yr and you give this guy more like 3.16m/yr? Plus I think Moulson gives a little more

EDIT:
27 goals 4 years ago and 28 last year. Nah......give him 1 year like Matt M

Signing this guy leaves little to no room for a guy like Petrov to make the team....

Not to Keen on this idea but it is Snow's show....

Not to say Stempniak is the answer, but who cares about Petrov or any other prospect having a spot on the team? Lee is a stop gap player but why hand over a roster spot to a prospect just because we are leaving an empty spot for them. Make them earn it and show they belong and not hand it to them. If they can not beat out the Jon Sims of the world for a spot in the NHL, than they do not belong in the NHL yet.

His market price is around $3 million. I think Lee may work out here. A 1-2 year deal would be good. I think 3 is a little much. In regards to taking a spot of a prospect. We have enough kids in the line up already. Lee is still young but I think he could help us .

Moulson got his money as a RFA, he is most certainly smart enough to understand that his value is always going to be lower as a RFA then an UFA like Stempniak is.

Wow Total Junk. I don't believe it for a second. Not even a reliable site .

Maybe this thread should be locked till we get a respectable site

They used a site called "hockeyfuzz" as a source... that site can't even spell player names or city names right. Looks like it's maintained by a 13 year old.

Like where?

The current planning already accounts for:
8-11 Dmen
3 goalies and two good prospect goalies.
4-5 centers, three being offensive in nature, one being a two-wayer, one being a rock-em-sock-em fourth liner.
7-8 3rd/4th liners signed up for various duties.
3 planned top six wingers (granted one is officially a center)

A 20-30 goal winger for the top two lines is pretty much the last real need the team hasn't put money towards.
