I hope it's gonna be as good as game 2. Just clean, fast-paced, old time hockey. That's what I like, and it doesn't matter who wins.

Nope, that's pretty much what old time hockey is all about. Mind you, if any blood is shed, it will only be noticeable on the Lightning white's (for obvious reasons). Hopefully that doesn't give the Lightning an unfair advantage officiating-wise -- we want a fair game now, right? Right?

Well if Tampa continues to whine to the media like the Van...err, Toronto Maple Leafs, it will be difficult.

Fat chance of that happening. Hopefully people remember this is a Calgary vs Tampa Bay gameday thread not Calgary fans vs Vancouver fans pissing contest thread.

I say winner of this game wins the Cup.

And with that said, I'll go with a 4-2 Tampa victory.

This should be an interesting game.

The "C of Red" will be out in full force and I believe that it may have an impact on the game. For whatever reason, I think Calgary's going to come out tenative today. TB scores in the first five minutes. They continue to come hard for the remainder of the 1st.

Calgary turns it up in the 2nd and 3rd, but can't beat Khabibulin. TB takes it 2-0.

Calgary comes back and takes Game 4 though.

Ah, yes. thanks for the reminder that bad sportsmanship is "just hard-nosed playoff hockey"(in Calgary) or retaliation for being picked on by noted tough guys Martin St. Louis, Brad Richards, and Cory Stillman.

Is it just me or do the Flames remind anyone of the Miami Hurricanes football program? Good team that has difficulties with losing graciously.

Hmmm, I thought old-time hockey meant being able to skate through the neutral zone without some idiot waterskiing on your back.

Maybe I'm just older.

Lets see if the Lightning can survive another "intimidating" crowd. I think us Bolts fans have heard this about four times too many

tailgaiting in the saddledome parking lots started around 2 or 3 mountain time, 3 or 4 hours before game time. I heard on the radio that there is people with a giant flames flag on top of an office building with a hanging effigy of a lightning player. You havn't seen nothin' yet

eh, crowds arn't that big of an intimidation. Their bigger use is to pump up the home squad. On a sidenote, I was amazed by Auld in game 6 of the first round in Calgary. He had 18000 people standing up, chanting "Auld" and pointing at him with 18000 thundersticks in unison for most the game and he was completely unfazed. For an AHL player/rookie/3rd stringer, thats pretty awesome.

I am actually psyched for this game. I am very happy for the City of Calgary, and the fans in that city.

3-2 TB in 2 OT's. This is a key game. The Lightning has been able to to fashion a 5-2 record on the road, and in cities like Montreal and Philadelphia, whose fans are easily as passionate as the the Flames fans are.

This is a game where Khabby steals one and Richards scores the OT winner.

Congrats to the Calgary Flames fans for getting in the first cheap, non-hockey shot in of the thread.

I say Calgary 3-1, no empty-netter. How many times have they lost back-to-back games this playoffs? I only remember once (against SJ).

Why don't you congratulate him and not "Calgary Flames fans" ?? After all, I seriously doubt that every Flames fan gathered together to come up with that post. I wasn't a part of it anyway.
