It's inbetween periods. And for the record, hockey players in general are not Angels. I can think of maybe three who would qualify, and it is simply because they aren't big enough to be otherwise.

Wow, am I the only one who thought that was a great period of hockey? I can't remember the last time I saw two teams going at it that hard. There were nearly as many great bodychecks that period as there have been all playoffs.

Uh-oh, here come that annoyingly superior "I'm a Canadian" attitude. This may come as a surprise, but others besides Canadians know a thing or two about the game. Get off the high horse. It's laughable.

ROFLMAO. Perhaps you should not presume that most people in Tampa is born in Tampa. I believe from the latest census that of people over 30 yrs old over 50% is born outside of the state. It is a state filled with people that is coming from somewhere else. LOTS of em From NORTHERN areas that have HOCKEY and SNOW

That was Brad Ference, not the Ference who plays for the Flames. No relation.

Kipper might have just saved the game there. Absolutely clutch.

(Or I suppose you could also say TB blew the 2 on 0, but still a great save.)

Well it was just Modin, but I thought it was an excellent save.

Anything to minimize anything that any Calgary player does. That's your job I guess.

No. It was an excellent save. I've already told you I thought Kiprusoff was an excellent goaltender. Chill.

I wouldn't know, I didn't see it. Mother nature has preempted the coverage of the finals in my market.

I just thought it was pathetic that you had to qualify the save with the statement I quoted.

Sorry to hear that. BTW, the ABC announcers agree that Calgary wants an ugly game, because they don't have the skill players Tampa has. So don't shoot the messengers.

Is there a Tornado going on right now? Or have the broadcast towers been destroyed? That sucks.

Sounds like the Lightning are having trouble with the Flames speed again.

Someone finally scored. It was Calgary.

I predict TB will wake up with a fury.

Extremely underrated player.

Discipline and lack of foot speed are his only weaknesses. When he plays under control and around the net he's a very good player.
