Check out the new logo for this alumni thing they're doing:

What's missing? Green, of course. At least it's not in the flag colors yet.

I noticed that too, what's happening to the green!?!?!? Maybe they wanna go back to the 94-99 look

I've always liked that set, looks great! As long as we have a LOGO (not "Dallas") and there is green in our jerseys i'd be happy, but I really hope we go back to green like the CCM days and we don't change to (blue, red and white). One of the main reason why I became a Stars fan was because of their colors. Changing the colors completely could lead to less Stars fans

The Razor proposed jerseys would seriously make me consider a new team. Just hideous. The logo doesn't work with those colors and they don't say "Dallas Stars". I feel like it would be the death of hockey in Dallas.

If the people involved now have any influence at all on the new owner, green it is. And theyre beauties. I just hope we see all green not just the jersey.

And would you guys believe that there's at least a couple over at the Stars boards that would like to see a change to bleu blanc rouge ? That's blue white and red for you non-french understanding fellas, just in case. I for one would be disgusted.

Is there a chance that we could have a 3rd jersey during this year considering we should have the owner in the next 60-75 days??

Stars just updated their website, and there is a lot of green and black. Maybe the retro look they were talking about could be the jersey that I posted earlier in this page?

We might see one introduced halfway through the season (all-star break maybe?) but I doubt we'll see one until next season.

I am sure most of the work is done though for a 3rd jersey considering they have been working on it for most of the year last season. Unless the new owner doesn't like any of the designs they've been working on I think it could be possible we introduce a 3rd halfway through the seasons. But i'd like to hear opinions of others.

Well, that assumes that the third jersey the Stars have been working on looks good. I don't know about you guys, but based on their recent jersey designs (every reebok edge jersey and the mooterus) I sure as **** am not giving them the benefit of the doubt. Hopefully the "new owner" (I refuse to call the new owner Gaglardi until he's in the AAC plastered in Stars gear) brings in some new jersey-designer dudes.

I've learned something tonight. Me+Beer= Parenthesis

I can't imagine they would actually go with those colors and logo. It is absolutely hideous and has absolutely nothing to do with our franchise and it's history.

Half the reason why the Mooterus was so bad was because there was that god forsaken red in that jersey.

We have no idea how far along they were in terms of league approvals and Reebok manufacturing. It's one thing to have a design, it's another to put it into production. All that dotting of i's and crossing of t's takes time. From concept to completion can take a full year of work. I wouldn't expect any further news on this subject until summer 2012.

Think even more retro than those ones.

They were further along in production than just a concept, but I'm not sure what will happen now with the current situation. I would say there's more of a chance we see something as you said next summer, but who knows ?

The Senators organization actually worked with a fan to develop their new 3rd jersey.

No wonder it doesn't look like the rest of Reebok's crap and the fans actually like it.

C'man, really ? Fan input ? That's just ridiculous. Who would even consider such a ludicrous idea. I really prefer the old method of hiring some suit and locking him in his office for 5 minutes with a black crayon.

Didn't the Stars do something similar in 2002-2003 with that big X (for 10 years) logo they had at center ice? I don't think that was on the jerseys.

Believe you're right, just don't understand it. Put it on the shoulders or something.

That Coyotes' anniversary logo is horrid. That looks like a banner a high school kid made for a his garage band's first show. Maybe the creative department is busy thinking up logos for a new city if the team gets moved?

i dont understand the love for the sens jersey. Its a black jersey with some stripes and a giant O. Not particularly pleasing to the eye, imo.

I disagree, it's a very strong design.

The 2-tone (in equal proportion) center stripe is unique in the league today. It ditches the wildly unpopular 3d centurion logo and the wildly unpopular SNES wordmark. There are no stupid Reebok 'innovations' such as piping or random underarm blotches of color. The colors are bold and distinctive and create the historic barber-pole look without being a blurry assault on the eyes.

Agreed, they have a very classic look in these new ones

Has Reebok done any good at all with the new jerseys?

id probably like them alot better if they had a logo instead of an O. I think the O is more boring than DALLAS.
