i like it overall but it is a bit too much white for my tastes. I think it looks really good in the player model but from the front not so much. Basically if the white didnt go all the way around the arms it would be great.

Interesting.

I guess I'm the only one who doesn't care for the North Stars color scheme.

The Stars will NOT have a new green 3rd jersey next season.

All the work that's been done this far could be thrown out the window with a new owner.

I am more than willing to postpone a new 3rd jersey, if it means a new owner by the start of the season.

Some great work on those guys. Much better than the freehand jerseys I used to draw up. What was the software you used again?

I know many like the darker green. Personally, I love the shade the Stars used the first year. As an NT alum, take my advice that the darker green doesn't translate well to TV. If You have a green out or something, the stands will end up looking completely black and empty, while a sellout crowd in lighter green will jump out at you.

On second thought, lets worry about selling out first.

Winner. This should be the new home sweater. Reverse it for the away sweater.

I use Adobe Illustrator for the striping, colors, and numbering, then export it as a .png into Photoshop where I add the various crests and logos along with any texturing and effects.

I made these new designs last night. I based them on their late 90's jersey, and I like it quite a bit better than my last design. I also created a new logo which I included on a seperate copy. Let me know what you guys think.

Design Without "STARS":

New Logo:

Edit: Just noticed that Piqued posted designs that look a lot like these. My apologies, not trying to rip off of anyone's ideas.

Best design I've seen up to date. I loved our old jersey's and those are as close as we could probably get. I'd buy those jersey's in a heartbeat. Not buying the new logo though..

I think you should seriously find a way to get these to the guy who creates the Dallas uniforms. Also not so sure about the black socks, maybe try the forest green instead.

That is much better, but I just realized something. Maybe have the bottom part of the green on the socks black? I think it would be even better with that minor touch.

^Times like this I wished the powers that be read these threads, and incorporated the ideas within into actual products.

Imagine one of these jerseys being unveiled at some point next year as a third jersey.

I just can't understand why they went to solid back and white jerseys. What you've made IS a Dallas Stars jersey, it represents what the Stars have always been about and brings us back to our real color. Man that's a great job.

I enjoy reading the Dallas forum and I will just chime in here because the Kings appear to be changing to black and white uniforms full time next season. I don't get all the love for the color black that these team's seem to have.

Stick with the original color schemes people. Those are what the fans want the most. The purple for the Kings, the green for the Stars, the teal for the Sharks, the eggplant and plum for the Ducks that is what fans want to see. Especially the eggplant and plum for the Ducks (heh, heh).

Something just came to mind recently, and I'm sure it passed every Stars fans mind at least once. What if the Stars went with Blue as their color?
You got the Cowboys, the Rangers and Mavs. Don't get me wrong, I love our colors (green, gold, white and black) but it be cool to see some concepts of Stars jersey with Blue, white, grey.
