Fedorov/Forsberg

In their primes, which dominant two-way center would you rather have?

Forsberg is the best player in the game right now, and Fedorov was never the best player in the game, but that comparison is not fair, because while Fedorov was in his prime, Jagr, Sakic and others were. I don't think Forsberg would have been as dominant seven years ago.

Fedorov has had a better career with more durability, but Forsberg is better.

I picked Forsberg either way.

Right now Forsberg's better, but Fedorov's more durable.

But this isn't a question of right now, this is a question of who was better in their primes. Fedorov, a couple years ago, was better than Forsberg is now.

Sergei in his prime was like Forsberg in his prime , the only difference is that Fedorov is one of the best two-way centermen of all time (yes better than Forsberg) .

Never the best player in the game? In 1994 Fedorov won the Hart, Selke and Pearson trophies and certainly was the best player in the game then. In his prime he was a better player then Forsberg as he could do everything Peter can while also being a better goal scorer. He also skates better and is better defensively. In his prime, he was as close as it gets to the perfect hockey player.

If Fed's was still with the RW's I wouldof picked him. But I'm a Sharks fan and hate the Ducks. So Forsberg it is.

Federov.

Forsberg in his prime is comparable to Fedorov offensively, but Feds was the better skater, and significantly better defensively.

I don't think what team the guy plays for should influence who was better in their prime.

Fedorov. Even now.

I don't recall anyone winning the Hart and Selke trophies the same year. Usually a Selke winner doesn't get more than 50 or 60 points ... Fedorov had 120!!!

people Forsberg is great , but there are not many defensive players who put up 80-100 points , and also win a selke , and a hart in the same year , this is a tough one , but Fedorov is the better player overall , Forsberg may be better on offence , by a slim margin though .
