Slovenia, they qualify for one tournament every ten years and they act like they are big time players

Heck, Montenegro would give Serbia a run, they at least play with heart and have better attacking options

Montenegro would run all over them. It's Kosovo vs Serbia I'd watch :-)

Northern Ireland just stopped playing in the second half...not that they were playing much in the first

Spain vs. Czech Republic on ESPN2 for American viewers

Actually, Slovenia qualified three times on a big tournament since 2000, just like Serbia did (the mighty Croatia did it four times). And I think there are plenty of NT that think more of themselves, yet they qualify on avarage on big tournaments just like Slovenia does or even less.

If Slovenia doesnt win in three days against N.Ireland than I think the current coach will be sacked. IMO the NT could use some fresh air and change the lineup a bit. Cant really play with the same 11 players and formation on a long run and hope for success (OK, Spain can).

2-0 England at halftime.

Boy does Wales look ragged. No build-up, no cohesion in defense, they look destined for the wooden spoon in Group G.

Those red kits the US has....I want one. They should wear them all the time.

Gooch just hurt himself again. I don't think it's good.

I like them to. I was so excited when Bradley brought in all these new players....then he goes with the same old hacks and 3 DM's.

I will take 3 DM's as long as one isn't Ricardo Clark. But there is no chance of the US scoring barring a miracle and as such this isn't really entertaining or worthwhile, although I'll watch it anyway.

The "grass" is so laughable right now, as soon as the ball hits it, makes a thud and sticks like its in mud.

Thought Dempsey would score right there.

lol, Bradley got *****ed but Howard did a great job.

Cambiasso scores. He's playing pretty far up in their formation.

I'd take Ricardo Clark at CB over the ridiculously slow Onyewu right about now. At least Clark won't get torched.

Agudelo makes the attack look much more fluid and natural.

Can't be much worse than Onyewu though. Onyewu isn't the same player since his injury against CR.

I wanted to see Ream play instead of Onyewu anyway. Onyewu has done okay with Twente since being loaned there.
