I did not go into this draft with a plan to get the GB trio. It just happened. But I'm pretty happy with this team.

As for Stafford, he will be good this year. Stafford has had a full year with Megatron now, and they will both explode this year.

Week 1 though, Detroit @ Chicago. Im going with Cutler.
Same. If DET was home I may have went with Stafford. I still think Stafford plays good but Cutler will/should play better.

With Johnson, Burelson, Sheffler, Pettigrew, Best and a way improved o-line you should expect big things from him this year.
I've followed Stafford throughout his career thus far in Georgia and his rookie season. He is developing great I see him being an elite qb in a year or 2. I think he will be a top 7 fantasy qb in time. I hope its sooner but I need to see how his supporting cast performs

Hate to be the bearer of bad news, and I certainly could be wrong, but not great. Schaub, Gore, Clark, Hartley, all solid no doubt. DWill is good enough, but I just have a feeling he's gonna lose a lot of carries to Stewart again. I'm not high on Moreno, but it's certainly a decent flex. The problem is your WRs. I think they'll both have worse years than last, and realistically are both outside the top 20. I don't see Breaston (or anyone in AZ) having a good year. Same with McFadden. Anthony Gonzalez is a huge question mark, and while Slaton could've been great in a PPR league, he's still fumbling and has been relegated to kickoff duties. If Foster gets hurt though maybe you get lucky.

Rodgers, obviously. DWill, Charles, AND Foster all starting is awesome. Calvin Johnson should be a top 5ish receiver again this year. Nicks or Harvin at the number 2 is a little weak, but those RBs are so good it's worth it. I like Nicks and Wallace's upside, and if Daniels gets healthy as the year goes along that could be quite a weapon.

Figured I should post this and get some outside advice. I'm a casual NFL fan, and this is my first time playing FF. Its an 8 person league and I picked 5th.

QB- Aaron Rodgers (2)
WR- Calvin Johnson (3)
WR- Roddy White (4)
WR- Percy Harvin (7)
RB- Adrian Peterson (1)
RB- Shonn Greene (6)
TE- Vernon Davis (5)
W/R/T- Dwayne Bowe (11)
K- Nate Kaeding (12)
DEF- San Francisco (8)

BN- Dallas (15)
BN- Santana Moss (10)
BN- Eli Manning (9)
BN- Tony Gonzalez (13)
BN- Michael Bush (14)
BN- Braylon Edwards (16)

I was very surprised that AP was still available at the 5th pick. Same goes with Rodgers. I'm very happy building around those two. To be honest I know very little about Shonn Greene, but from looking into it a lot of experts are predicting a big year for him. I think Yahoo even had him as the 9th best player available. I have no problems with him being my #2. With Bush on my bench, I feel very confident with my RBs. The same goes for Manning and my QBs, and VD and Gonzalez and my TEs. With my D I plan on being very active in changing who starts weekly, depending on who has the favorable match up.
I am a little concerned about my WRs. Johnson and White are both highly rated, with Bowe and Harvin both being ~20. Harvin's migraines are worrisome, but Moss can hopefully fill in the void if he goes down. Edwards will most likely be the first person I put on waivers if need be. My main concern is that with drafting WRs I might have fallen too much in love with their rankings, and not the actual player.
So what do you think? Any advice/comments?

^It's a great team, but it's pretty hard to not have a great team in an 8 teamer.

10 team league, had the 10th pick, what do y'all think?

QB-MVPeyton
RB-Steven Jackson, Jamaal Charles
WR-Greg Jennings, Wes Welker, TO
TE-Jason Witten
Def-Jets
K-Mason Crosby
Bench-Matt Ryan, Ricky Williams, Braylon Edwards, Vincent Jackson, Greg Olsen, Cardinals Def

And no, V-Jax wasn't a brain cramp, got him with my next-to-last pick(took the Cards D with the last one), bascially just a straight gamble at this point. The guys I would've taken instead of him are still around, so if something isn't resolved quick, I can make the necessary adjustment. Anyway, other thoughts?

Considering there was a run on that right before my pick, I'll take what I can get. If Dez can have a solid rookie season and Welker returns to form, I'll be fine. I can always trade Daniels or Ryan too if they have huge years.

My team is either going to be the best ever or be huge busts.
I took a boom or bust approach in my primary league as well. The issue is that it is a keeper league so the pickings are limited and I am coming off of back to back championships before last year so I have had late draft picks for years while the current superstars have been snatched up.

QB - Drew Brees, Ben Roethlisberger
RB - Jamaal Charles, Arian Foster, Marion Barber, Ricky Williams, Bernard Scott
WR - Anquan Boldin, Hakeem Nicks, Johnny Knox, Mike Williams (TB), Jabar Gaffney, Jacoby Jones, Sidney Rice
TE - Jermichael Finley
K - Garrett Hartley
D - Dallas, Oakland

All of the RBs and WRS will be either very good or awful. I figured that, particularily at WR, if I took a lot of shots, I could hit on three of them and if all else fails land a few keepers for next year and have a high pick.

We shall see.

Brees and AP are always good, WRs are decent, my biggest concern would be a lack of a real RB2. I don't think LT's it and Slaton has lost the job to Foster. Don't drop Sidney Rice, hold onto him and bury him on your bench.

Ok guys need a little help. This is my team:

QB: Romo, Roethlisberger, Cutler
RB: Turner, Gore, Charles, Brown, Jacobs
WR: Austin, D. Jackson, Bowe, Holmes,
TE: Finley, Daniels
D/ST: 49ers
K: Hartley

So a guy in my league was looking to trade AP for a running back and a receiver. We've gone back and forth and this was his last offer:

AP and Vincent Jackson for Gore, Austin and Jacobs. What do u guys think?

No way. You're giving up to much. There's a good chance Jackson doesn't even play at all this year.

Your RB's are fine anyway. Is this a 6/8 team league? How do you end up with Turner & Gore?

God no. I'm not a fan of Jacobs at all, so even if he wasn't included this deal isn't fair at all. I expect Miles Austin to have a very big year. Something more like Gore and Bowe would be closer to fair. Now again, if V-Jax gets traded then it's a completely different story. But I'm looking at this as strictly AP for Gore and Austin, because I really think we won't see V-Jax this year.

I'm in a ten team keeper league and just did my draft tonight. I had an ok draft imo but took alot of high upside picks. We have to draft 3 QB, 4 RB, 5 WR, 2 TE, 2 DST & 2 K.

QB - Joe Flacco, Ben Roethlisberger, Matt Moore
RB - Chris Johnson(K), Jamaal Charles, Jerome Harrison, Arian Foster
WR - Calvin Johnson(k), Mike Wallace, Wes Welker, Malcolm Floyd, Mike Williams(TB)
TE - Dallas Clark, Jermaine Gresham
DST - SF, Cin
K - Stephen Gostkowski, Joe Nedney

Each week we're allowed to dress 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, 1 Flex(RB,WR, or TE), 1 DST,1 K

I'm defending my championship and had last pick. What do you guys think?

I just did my first ever auction draft (12 team league, $200 Budget) and wow was that fun...again any feedback is appreciated, gotta decide if I should swing some deals:

QB - Joe Flacco ($7)
WR - Greg Jennings ($26)
WR - Anquan Boldin ($26)
WR - Pierre Garcon ($10)
RB - Frank Gore ($59)
RB - Jamaal Charles ($33)
TE - Zach Miller ($4)
DEF - Cincinnati ($1)
K - Robbie Gould ($1)

Bench:
QB - Matt Ryan ($2)
RB - Arian Foster ($16)
RB - Thomas Jones ($6 - like the combo with Charles)
RB - Willis McGahee ($1)
WR - Eddie Royal ($4)
WR - Jericho Cotchery ($1)

My main call-out is WR depth...I wanted both Jacoby Jones and Malcolm Floyd but the one guy who wasn't there got auto-bidded on them way above market value. Oh well.

Your WR's and RB's are fairly weak. Rice isn't going to play until at least week 7. LT and Slaton are back-ups.

Not sure who you can trade because it's hard to build depth in a 20-team league. Personally, I'm not big on taking big-name QB's but I'm usually in 12-team leagues. I'd try and get good value in return for Brees, and then go with Garrard. People will call me crazy, but I'd rather have the value at WR and RB because you can always find a solid QB.
