Tossing out a vote for Riopel, hoping he has a rebound season.

I actually think Riopel has good potential, not on the same level as Sunshine or Bob or anything, but certainly head and shoulders above the rest of our slop. It really is a shame that we are log-jammed in Adirondack for goalies now, Riopel is going to go back to the ECHL and break his own records for another year.

I went with Wellwood. He seems to have the exact opposite work ethic as his brother. I worry about him being overvalued because of the team he was on, but I still see 3rd line potential. 13th is just about the perfect spot for him.

Wellwood then Holmstrom. Wellwood and Holmstrom probably have 3rd line potential, but Wellwood is more likely to reach it and he has better offensive potential.

I am pretty sure the Flyers themselves are still calling him a project, has he learned to not trip over his skates yet?

I have him penciled in as #15, after Pither and Wellwood.

I went Wellwood. Around 15, I think Im voting for Chaput. Now before you laugh it off, I was reading what some people were saying about him during the prospect camp... he looked very very good. He is a faceoff maniac, winning a high percent of them.

If he can get his offense up, I think he could be a solid piece in the future.

When he was drafted I was listening to people talk about him and interviews, he sounds like a prototypical 3rd line defensive center with leadership ability, really like the pick, but not at 15 right after being drafted.

I was thinking 18.

Once we get this far down the chart, is there really a real difference between these guys? The separation between them has to be tiny at this point. Not knocking the thread, just a thought.

Yea your probablly right. Forgot Riopel. Next I have Pither, then Riopel.

Id probablly put Chaput next but some might go Kalinski who is pretty much out of a job on the Flyers for the next few seasons (because of Betts), and Lauridsen who I do love his height, but his skating/attitude makes me nervious.

Somewhere in the next few rounds I'll be voting Chaput as well. The difference between a guy like Testwuide and Chaput should be a huge spread at a prospect camp, so to compare them is tough. It seems like the kid held his own OK and is way younger than most who attended.

no sense voting for defenseman. we have the great Matt Walker who will prevent any of our young defenseman from playing.
