Help on the CSHL, AJHL, And MJAHL

I have been getting some offers from a few different teams. 1 in the CSHL, 1 in the Alberta Junior Hockey League, and 1 in the Maritime junior A hockey league. I understand that the CSHL is tier III junior A and the others are tier II junior A but what would be the most recommended? I know the AJHL gets alot of pro and college scouts but as for the MJAHL how would they measure up?

Not being rude but the CSHL is the same as midget from what I seen when I was in Ohio. Use it as a last option.

The MJAHL is just called the MHL now. As far as calibre of hockey goes, Alberta is the best of those three, no question. The MHL is not too far behind though. I'm not sure if you'd see many pro scouts in the Maritime league but it is quite heavily scouted by universities and major junior. Also, the MHL is where alot of maritime kids go if they want to save their US college eligibility by not playing major junior, so there's the possibility of NCAA schools being present also.

Good luck in Northern NB, give you a chance to brush up on your French and I hope you like snow
I'd check with the NCAA Clearing House on your NCAA requirements.
Let us know what # you'll be wearing so I can watch you at games in Dieppe.
Again Good Luck...Bonne Chance.

You'll be in a small Canadian town of about 10,000 on the town's top team. Score some, play with some heart and you'll be a rock star. Enjoy the experience and the slightly different way of life.

The clock starts ticking when you become a full time student. You basically have 5 years to play 4 hockey seasons.

My 2 cents....the best league at this level in Canada is the BCHL, then the AJHL.

Both are heavily scouted depending on the venue.
10 college scouts per game is not real and rules prohibit this.

Many AJHL & BCHL rinks will have 5-10 NHL scouts at any given game.
In addition many AHL and ECHL scouts.....
