What time on Sunday mornings?

I'd consider it if it was at a good time, But I'm busy this weekend, and next 2 weekends Rutgers has home games Saturday, which may mean Sunday is more like a recovery day.

Duh, internet. 8:45. I'm not against it, would rather on like a Saturday night, depending on situation.

Why'd the conversation stop? Don't want to play with a Flyers fan?

If that's the case, I'm going to rock one of my Flyers jerseys if I come by.

3rd???? wtf how often do you play?? those are nice. i like predominantly white pads but when our vaughn rep came in to show us some o the new equipment he completely sold me over, especially now that they own eagle, i have an eagle blocker trapper which are awesome.

I play a lot, but I am also picky with equipment. I sold my v4's about a month ago because I really did not like them at all. The glove never broke in properly and the pads just didn't work for me.

I'm always there. Look for me in my tinted Ovechkin visor and Sidney Crosby #87 jersey. I'm just so cool.

I went to the Union site today and saw this on the home page:
"Adult Open Hockey – The Sunday 8:45-10:15 am session ends on September 5."

You may want to check the schedule again...is that the session you were thinking of?

Skate blades don't choose who they will and won't cut, regardless if you're player or goalie.

But then, late in the season, he suffered a horrific facial injury when Ottawa’s Randy Cunneyworth accidentally kicked him in the face with his skate blade. It took over 200 stitches – most of them under the skin – to close the grisly wound. Renberg showed up for practice 48 hours later, but the Flyers wisely did not permit him to skate.
I remember seeing this. Cunneyworth fell forward on his belly, same with Renberg. Where Cunneyworth's skate was, so was Renberg's face. Cut right up his face, chin to forehead.

I was also at the Flyers-Rangers game 2 seasons ago where the linesman got cut in the neck by Steve Downie's skate, trying to avoid a check between Downie and a Ranger into the boards right by him. Downie came up in the air, and his leg flew out, and the blade nicked the linesman's neck.

There's been a push lately from what I've heard in pee wee hockey, getting young players to start wearing neck guards. It's an injury where seconds are the difference between life and death, and when you're playing with essentially knives on your feet, it's a smart move to get protection.
