Visors

I'm in the market for a half-shield, and I've only been shopping for a little while. It's taking forever for me to narrow down the field, so I was hoping I could get some help.

I'm looking for a clear half-shield, preferably straight cut. Where do some of you usually buy your stuff? I'm looking to save some money.

I hear Purehockey.com is having a 20% sale til the 19th...but I think their stock of visors is limited online. They do have an Oakley straight visor which is nice.

I usually buy off Inline/Ice warehouse.com and they have a fairly good selection for a decent price. Cheap/quick shipping too!

Yeah I think I'm going with the Oakley half visor.

How important are spacers?

Spacers are important because if your helmet is too small and you try to attach the shield without spacers, they'll pull the helmet too far apart and put stress on the shell.

The oakleys should come with spacers, but if not you can pick up longer screws and some 3/8ths plastic washers at your local hardware store for much cheaper than an actual set which is basically the same thing.
