DESPERATE CPU problem

Hi guys, Im really desperate I have this cpu I need to fix for 2morrow ( I have my own cpu consulting company now) but I had to formate it and I dont know what happend but now when I insert the floppy disk my cpu can´t find my cd-rom and I can´t run FDISK because it says "no disks to fix".
I need to get into fdisk so I can delete the dos-partittions and then start over, I think that would work and it would get the cd-rom going again (it worked before).

But how do I get into FDISK when it says "no disks to fix"

HELP REALLY NEEDED, I need to fix this for my company

I'll try to help, I'm a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer and work for Blue Cross and Blue Shield as a Workstation Architect. Without a diskette in the drive are you able to read from CD? Does the floopy work at all? To run Fdisk, you may need to from it from a bootable device other than the hard drive, either a floopy or USB disk on key. Email me if you want to at ddddesmet@hotmail.com and i'll see what we can do.

thanks
dan

Try going into your bios and change the boot order and boot directly from your O/S CD. I did this once to reinstall Windows XP home.

Try hitting the Escape key just before boot up.If that doesn't work then you'll have to try a few different keys such as F10 or DEL depending on which OS you have...Good Luck
