Kevin Porter of #avs has no points in six games and ZERO shots on goal
Tweet from Avs' beat writer.
Anyone think Porter has an NHL future still? He's not a prototypical bottom 6 forward and is being utilized as such with them, but then again he's not good enough offensively at this level to be a top 6 player either. Just another college scorer who can't translate it to the next level?

Ill just say that now Colorado and Philadelphia probable dont want to be trading partners with us anyone after we ***** them bad our last trades with them.
So here's my first study, more to get an idea of what I'm going for than anything. It's rough but should show you what I'm trying to do. I'm not married to the color scheme but since it'll be in my bedroom, I'd prefer something calming as opposed to a bright yellow that would give me anxiety (although I slept with a Kandinsky print above my bed for years, so who knows?). My main goal is to establish a bit of kinetic energy in the piece, to give it some movement, both forward/backward and up/down. I would also be willing to rotate it 90 degrees in either direction, but not 180 degrees.
Anyway, I don't want to talk about it too much, especially with such an early draft. Any and all criticism is appreciated. I have thick skin.
I have a few blemishes to touch up, but I'm mostly done. As mentioned, it's six feet tall and three feet wide. My camera (which not long ago took a bath in a full cup of tea) and my lights (compact fluorescents, all) don't do much for the color by way of flattery, but I'm sure you get the idea. As mentioned, I have thick skin, so bring on the critique. I'm happy with it though.
Also, because I had to buy an 8'x4' piece of wood from Home Depot, I had a scrap piece of wood that I decided to turn into something for my girlfriend. I'm happy with how it came out though. Critiques on this are also welcome.
I'm not sure where you're reading that Prop 19 is too close to call. Everything I've seen says it lost by a mile.
What zz said, I'm referring to a local prop. Granted it won't have the devastating effects that prop 19 in Cali would've had but still there is no way they want this one to pass either. I'm hoping the drug lords don't sweep the mid-terms but it's looking like that is going to be the case.
Ah, okay. My mistake. Though I'm disappointed at the rejection of these propositions, it's a small victory to see the discussion enter heavily into the mainstream. I'm guessing these were gateway referenda, to borrow an idea.
The problem I'm faced with now is hanging it. It's way too expensive to frame, and it's too heavy to hang by any simple means. Does anyone have any ideas? As mentioned, it's 6' x 3' and made of tempered hardwood.
Well...arizonans get what they asked for. Since props 301 and 302 failed, my dept will be either laying people off, cutting our pay and/or furlouh days. Funny thing too is that people against prop 302 didn't want money cut from schools, however, the schools will have funding cut to balance the budget. Oh well...don't get pissed when it takes a guy hrs to respond to ur wreck on the state highways now.
