What would your team pay Brian Rolston?

Rolston is one of the best PK'rs in the league and is a SHG threat pretty much every time hes out there,he can play the point on the PP as well, hes a 25-35 goal scorer when hes played on the LW where he belongs...the B's having him at Center all year was assanine IMO and dropped his goals scored to 19.
Hes 31 years old, has great wheels and a terrific shot(not the most accurate, but is a lazer) hes a definite 1st or 2nd Line LW'r
What would you offer Rolston as a UFA?
Id love for him to be back in Boston on Thorntons LW where hed def out produce Knuble and i think could put up better #'s the Murray did the last 2 full seasons, but w/ his crappy playoff and less then specatacular regualr season hes all but gone...i think hes worth 3-4 years 3-3.75$ per year.

He would look very good on the LW of Ribeiro and Ryder.

That's about what I'd offer from the Kings.

I couldn't imagine the Flames offering more than 2 million for him. But Sutter doesn't like to overpay...

I agree, if Anaheim were to sign Rolston (and I think he would be a good pickup), I would think that they would probably pay him a little more then what Steve Rucchin makes (2.95 million a year or so)

Exactly and he could be move down to 3rd line center, if needed or Habs develop another top 6 winger out of their young guys. 2.5M-3M would be the ballpark IMO.

2 mil$ MAX! The guy prove NOTHING in playoff in resent years. Where was he vs MTL except on the penalty box? In fact I would pass on the occation.

He had a bad year, but teams know that he is an excellent two-way player. He'll get what most people say... around $3 mil. However, my team (Vancouver) has no use for him.

Maybe he had a bad year but he played on 3rd line in Boston for the last 3 years or something and IMO 3rd liner's should NOT be paid 3 mil$ if we want to get our game straith again.

The whole Bruins team, except for Samsonov and some newcomers, was a let down, no need to single him out. He did have pretty good playoffs round vs Habs couple years ago and had decent years with Devils before, so its not like hes completely useless in playoffs time.

I have a feeling Rolston would fit Habs game plan, based on speed rather than size, much better. That said, I wouldnt mind having him, but I'd rather see that money spend in keeping Kovalev.

If I were running the Blues, that's about what I'd offer. I'd play him at center between Tkachuk and Demitra, though, and try to unload Weight for picks and prospects.

I'd offer around 3 million a year. Wings could certainly use the speed he provides.

Roslton(25-35 goals)rutu (25-30 g)-daze (30 goals he can't produce as well after surgery )
