Halloween...Still No Hockey!

Anyone else enter the Blues pumpkin carving contest? I think I actually have a shot at placing in the top 3.

They seem to not even be in the same ball park. On one hand the players are making more money than they ever have. On the other hand the owners need to work out revenue sharing among themselves. Hockey is making record revenues but it makes sense that the haves (Toronto, Montreal) are generating considerably more of those revenues than a team like the Blues. What a shame that some common sense can't prevail.

I get everyone's frustration, but we have to remember it's easier to split someone elseís money.

I had some hope earlier, but now I just don't think the top earners get it, this league has a long history of doing things a little backwards. The top wants to keep their money and they want the players to give to help the lesser teams.

It looks like itís going to be 50 game season or none at all.

Okay, so now that the entries have been posted to the official site, which pumpkins would you say are the top 3? I won't say which one I did until the winners are announced.

I liked 7, 24, and 5 the best.

Those were just the order of the pictures. 1 was pretty good too.

Ah, I'll say...Mine would have been much better had I found out about the contest a day earlier. I could have added A LOT more to it.

Edit: It was also my first time, a small pumpkin, and an exacto knife would have been more helpful than a steak knife.

1, 5, and 11 are my favorites. 11 has a nice creative approach to it.

Wow...Only one of my favorites was even in the top 3. Crazy...5 got robbed.

I guess it's okay to say which one I did now. I did #7, the David Backes one. The logo is the size of my thumb, while the numbers are smaller than a dime.
