Hey I'm starting a new league, it's going to be incredibly competitive and intense. I'd like to keep the competition level high, so only express interest if you feel that not only are you knowledgable enough to compete, but also have the time (5-10 min per day commitment). It's a fun experience, if you've never done it before, and if you haven't, knowledge is certainly enough to step in and compete right away (not too high a learning curve).
H2H scoring, each individual category. Categories are: goals, assists, points, +/-, PIMs, SOGs, hits, blocked shots, points by defensemen, and special teams points. Goalie categories are total saves, SV%, GAA, and total wins.
It will be a dynasty league, lasting as long as I can keep it running. 10 keepers per team from season to season.
Once again, you do not need prior fantasy hockey experience, but you really really have to know your stuff (the league is deep enough that you'll need to be familiar with pretty much every team's roster, and SOME prospect knowledge as well). If you're interested, please leave your email and I'll send you an invite.
actually we have a Canes Board keeper league going if you're interested in joining this season. There's usually one or two open spots per season, and worst case (best case?) we have a procedure for doing an expansion draft in place.
I'll keep you updated once Yahoo gets things going again if you're interested.
And don't worry, keeper/dynasty's aren't too much different from a one-year league, only difference is that you build a successful team WAY younger... That way you aren't like dominant for one year with a bunch of productive vets, then end up needing a rebuilding year. Keep stocking up on prospects and young guys, and you'll be fine.
