Sounds about right. Ekholm and Ellis looked great together towards the end of the season when we were actually winning games. Have to imagine they'll start together, but anything can happen. I imagine the 2nd and 3rd pairings will get similar ice time until one pulls away from the other.
With this signing, we still have a ton of cap room with only Ellis and Ekhom to re-sign
We'll still have like $12m I think. Use it wisely. And a lot of these deals are 1 year types, Fisher will also probably retire after next season (assuming he gets healthy enough to even see the ice) which opens up more cap space.
