If Souray is put on re-entry waivers

I couldn't find anything on your board so I was wondering if Souray was put on re-entry waivers and fell to the Panthers, how likely would it be that Florida grabs him, in your opinion?

Not very likely...they've already got a plethora of d-men on the team and he doesnt really help them I think.

While he is a defensive liability, regardless of what Oiler fans say, he would be a big weapon for our lethargic power play. We just cant pair him and Cabs together, otherwise it would be disastrous.

Internal cap won't allow such a move, never gonna happen.

Wideman was brought in to improve the power play so I dont see why we would need Souray who's now 34 yrs old, even if he's making only half his current $5.4M for the next 2 yrs.

McCabe, Wideman, Kulikov, Garrison.

If there's one thing the Panthers have, it's offensive defenseman who can move the puck, and get a good PP going. In the case of McCabe and Wideman, those two are experienced at it.
