Well since you guys didnt like my last trade proposal, i thought id try again and hopefully do better
Anyway
To San jose
Beauchimen
Sjostrom
To Boston
McGinn
SJ 1st 2011
Joslin
Caputi
To Toronto
Bergeron
Ryder
This IMO is an even trade. San Jose gets a top 4 dman and an excellent pker. Boston gets a solid young LW, another 1st rounder this year and a good dman prospect, who has the hardest shot in the AHL. Most importently, boston clears cap space. Toronto gets a top 6 forward, and takes a salary dump.
note: sorry wrong button, meant to hit proposal, could a mod please change it for me?

I say no from Toronto we don't want Ryder and don't really need Bergeron.
Toronto needs a #1 Centre, Bergeron's played with Kessel. Toronto doesn't even have a prospect that can potentially be #1. Bergeron's only 25 year old with a good contract.
Bergeron's left foot could be your number one center, LMAO @ saying Toronto doesnt need him.
Bozak played better than Bergeron last season, amd why get another Centre when we already have Bozak, Kadri, Mitchell, Grabovski all fighting for a spot. We can get a LW for our second line which we REALLY need like trading Beauch for CLOWE, Clowe could be our SOLID second line LW.
Boston definitely doesn't do this. Bergy is a heart + soul player and definitely wants to resign. He's also the only 1 of their 4 centres who's remotely suited to playing a shutdown role... and when you carry 3 big talents like that, one of them has to be able to do that.
Toronto's willingness to do this really depends on how confident Burke would be in his ability to get Bergy locked up for more than 1 year. This could pose a slight issue on the cap aswell. Cap issue would mean that Grabovski is a likely casualty, which isn't a good idea if there's a significant risk of Bergy walking.

Bergeron is better than any of them. I know you know this, but you wont admit it, anyone who knows anything about hockey will though.
So, if you could trade Beauchemin and Sjostrom for Bergeron and Ryder, you wouldn't do it?
Ryder's a RW so where would he play 3rd or 4th line ? We have Kessel and Versteeg.
our second line as of now _______(Clowe) - Kadri - Versteeg
but you want it to be _______ (most likely Caputi) - Bozak - Versteeg/Ryder
then the 3rd line with Kadri center we need him on the top 2 lines.

I dont know why you think the sharks, who are gunning for a cup, are going to trade a peice of their core without a suitable replacement in the system
