not sure either of those predictions are true. and if chara wants a pay raise he can go find it elsewhere he makes 7.5mil already.
Bergeron for sure probably in the area of 5.5m. Im thinkin Chara might try and go the Pronger route of a front loaded contract. if the NHL doesnt allow it he can simply say you allowed Prongers, mines the same so mine should be allowed as well.
Bergeron's unlikely to get a pay raise, he'll likely sign for the same amount or a bit less IMO. He had his injury, and he hasn't performed the same (obviously) since the injury. He signed that deal off a 70+ point season, and he hasn't gotten there since unfortunately. I see him signing around $4.5/year.
