Wow. Bobby Ryan got me 5.2 points from 17 PIM, and 1 SOG. He got a 2 Minute instigator, 5 minutes for fighting, and a 10 minute misconduct.

Moulson got me a goal and assist. Kind of glad I kept him around.

Not to toot my own horn or belittle Moulson, but I kind of saw this coming which is why I said in one post a while back that I would trade for him.

It's not uncommon for players that are put into positions where they're given every chance to succeed to succeed to some degree. Most recent example is how Andy Green, a pretty mediocre d-man in all facets of the game, managed almost 40 points last year while receiving the most TOI and PP time out of all Devils players (or at least d-men).

I mean, with Tavares, Okposo, and Streit out how many options do they have? Moulson, Bailey, and...Nielsen?

Another example is Potulny, a pretty crappy player as we all know, who put up around .5 PPG last year under an equally crappy and injury-riddled Oilers squad last year.

I considered dropping Moulson because he lost Okposo. Moulson-Tavares-Okposo is a disgusting line. That hurt, but apparently Moulson is stepping up where he needs to. I guess that goes to show the parity of the NHL every year.

I think I added up the games scheduled, and myself and Las vegas have 61 GP each this Matchup, so it is even for the most part.

Bryzgalov got me 0.8 points in a loss. A low number of goals mixed with a high number of saves. That game he gave up 3 but made 34 saves. 34 Saves is 6.8 points, then -6 for the 3 goals.

A win is 5 points, so yeah, those are pretty vital if you want a positive return from your goalie. I took a huge gamble on this with Bryzgalov. Vezina candidate last year, yes...but Phoenix has generally always had question marks. If they can't support him this season, I may be in trouble.

Pittsburgh finally wins, and it's Brent effin Johnson. At least Stafford and Kane got some points last night.

FML. Rafalski out 3-4 weeks. Zidlicky still hasn't played. I hope he does. Had to pick up Barrett Jackman.

I think me and Hub have to decline. Can't get rid of two of our younger stars for old ass Zubrus and Hejduk. Rinne is obviously an interest for us so we'll think of something and give you a counter offer.

Appreciate it. I hate it when teams don't give back a counter-offer or at least explain why they don't like the initial deal.

We're 2-4 games into the season. I would stop looking at 2010 stats and 2011 Projections and start going off of 2011 Stats.

I'm trying all kinds of stuff. Most adds, most owned. Somewhere out there, people are adding Scott Niedermayer, Evgeni Nabakov and Cristobal Huet.
Even Kevin Weekes is in the top-10 most added goalies, and he's too busy doing On The Fly to play a game.

This is the great thing about drafting fleury when he plays like ****, I'm happy. When he plays awesome against teams that aren't the Flyers I'm happy. But seriously 4g on 14s jesus!

Steve Stamkos and Bobby Ryan had stellar nights, 1G 1A each, both got a PP point, and Stamkos got the game winner.

3 teams have now broken the 100 point mark.

Drunk Vikings vs. Loggers is a tight race, as is Swag Squad vs. Last Place.

Fleury is single-handedly ruining my goalie stats in practically all of my leagues.

Kind of disappointed that I have competition for best week in the league now. It was nice all by myself up there.

Anyways, whoever I'm playing benched Schenn this week. He almost had a 6 point night last night.

Getzlaf (over 11 points), Edler, and Ryan saved my ass in a couple of other leagues (one of them being the Flyers keeper league). Went from being a fair distance behind to trying or even getting ahead just because of them.

I need a shutout from Ward tonight. It would have been nice if I started Stepan over Wilson and Carlson over Streit but oh well.

Kinda figured this would happen, but the young guns in Tayor Hall and MPS (dont have him playing but he hasnt done anything either)arent doing such a great job. Peverly is also killing me (I guess Kovachuk less can hurt you).

Vokoun stepped up his ****.I know its the beginning, but you would think some of the big guns like Myers and Zetterberg would do well.

Matt Lombardi was supposed to help me. But yea he is injured like every other day. Dont know whats going on with him. Kinda sad when Radek Dvorak is getting the points for the team

8 teams above 100 points now...

HC and Golden Pheasant are now close, as well as the two games I mentioned yesterday.

John Carlson with 18.1 points and Derek Stepan with 10.6 just sitting on my bench. Good thing I have Mark Streit in my lineup....
