I'd lose Ryan much faster than Perry or Getzlaf.

I would love for the Ducks to do this. It'd be really good for them.

this should be fun...

Someone have that Micheal Jackson .gif of him eating popcorn???

My guess... you start with Kadri+Schenn and add from there...

Remember what you gave up for Kessel?... well, you're going to have to add significantly to that.

Ryan would be more likely I think. Leafs barely have the assets to get either of these guys without gutting the team's future.

Perry > Ryan > Kessel
so start thinking Schenn, Kulemin, and Kadri for Perry

seems pretty decent value wise, but as Leafs fan I would be hesitant to trade Kadri..

I could live with something like: Schenn + Gunnarsson + Kulemin + 2nd

Why would the Leafs want Perry when they already have Armstrong? Same player just lower calibre.

from a leafs point of view, probably "no" .
why give 3 of our 'better' players, for 1 really good player? although i hate to admit it, leafs aren't that offensively talented, and 3 of our more producing players + a high rated prospect isn't just worrth it

uhhh...potentialy 40 goals compared to 15-20?

EDIT: to give my opinion on how much it would take? More than we're willing to give up, but it would be sweet, he would be a hero/fan favourite here in no time.

Yeah, Anaheim gets a bad deal but I don't really like this for us, personally I'd rather have Ryan (not that this package would get him) because he's a fit. Perry is one of the best complimentary players in the league, but we don't have that legitimate 1st line C for him to compliment. I really do not want to give up the kid we drafted 5th overall in 2008.. just 2 years ago, and a young two-way player in Kulemin who's value is lower right now than it should be, given the flashes of greatness we've seen. Not to mention our top pick next year.

Value is not fair to them.

But don't act like this helps us.

While I wouldn't make that deal either, The fact that Perry is still 26 gives him time to develop with our young centermen, and his presence would make us a playoff team this year. Don't tell me this wouldn't look great in two year, or even now:

Perry-Kadri-Kessel
Kulemin-Bozak-Versteeg

Boy wouldn't that be something.

I'll give the Ducks Peter Harrold and a 4th round pick along with whatever the Leafs give back, just to get Perry out of my conference. Then again, if he were on the Leafs, he would probably be the most talked about forward of all time, what with all the cheap shots now being in the limelight and all the Leafs fans defending his non-existent honor.

Nevermind. Send him to Siberia. That'll do.

It would take Kessel+Schenn for the ducks to even consider it. So in other words Never gonna happen.

That looks like a good top-six, but you gotta give something up to get Perry... I'd imagine at least one or both of Kadri and Kulemin, along with other pieces, would have to be gone.

I would propably give up Kadri for him.

Kadri
Gunnarson
D'amigo
2nd rounder

Still not enough, but I think the Ducks would at least pick up the phone.

Swap Kadri for Schenn. Leafs need offense and Kadri could be a difference-maker

I think I'd rather keep Schenn for reasons that are hard to explain. I just feel that Schenn has more of the ability to become a franchise-type player with elite shutdown d-man upside. Plus I think Kadri is higher risk.
