It's Been A Great Run

As some of you already know I took a job in Daytona Beach. I have already located. It's been a hectic last two weeks for me and haven't had much time to let anyone around here really know what's been going on. All that said, it's been an amazing run for me in Nashville the last 17 years. I've made some great friends along the way, many from these and the other boards. I am going to miss the chill of the rink come October but will be getting the Center Ice package so I can watch the boys kick some arse. You guys are my link to the young talent and what's happening on a day to day basis. I'll be around but not as much as I have in the past. I'll also be back in TN to catch some games each season. Hope to see some of you when I'm back in town. We have a great fan base and I've been very proud to be part of the local base. Now I'm taking my love of the team further south. I love this team and have never felt closer to a team in all my years of watching sports. Thanks for all the great memories and like I said, I'll be around from time to time. Everyone be good.

Congrats on the new gig FCM. Must be one heckuva deal to seperate you from the Preds. But you know where to find everyone, and we'll see you around. Hopefully more often than you think.

Congratulations on the job, and I wish you luck in the future. Show Florida what Predators fans are all about!

I wish you only the best. You won't be that far from a couple of hockey teams, so at least you can get a fix here and there.

So...um...do you have any spare rooms?

i don't understand how you will be happier in daytona beach with a job, girls in bikinis everywhere, and (if you want to call them a hockey team) the panthers when you could be happily unemployed, collect food stamps, live in the projects, and still be season ticket holder for the preds. loser

I think he'll be closer to the Lightning. A much better option than the Panthers. Stamkos, Vinny, St.Louis... of course the Panthers have that Vokoun guy.

Welcome to the denizens of the displaced Preds fandom. Remember it's like a National Guard posting. You live a normal life till the call of the Preds comes and you have to ship out. Find an anchor in Nashville to stay at so you can save hotel money and remember that it's good to check in on the family once in a while.....I mean the Preds family, what the hell did you think I meant?

Ditto on the 28th. I was planning on kidnapping a CBJ fan and bumping attendance for the Preds v.CBJ game. But I was also planning on going to the UAH game vs. RPI.
