Here is the first video, I just got done! The quality will increase once it is done processing on you tube! Let me know what you think...I don't know if the music is appropriate or if it would be better without it...Let me know! I am going to make another video focused on Erik Gudbranson and finally a video of just the practice in general!! Lets Go Panthers!

Click on where it says 360p and choose 480p the quality is much better!

Enjoy!! I am going to watch the dolphins game, after that I will continue cutting the clips and getting the footage up here!

Based upon today Guds will go back to Juniors. But, it's the first day so obviously he can change all of that. He didn't look as strong and dominating as I had thought he would be. He didn't stand out in the drills. There were times when he looked tired when others didn't.

McFarland looked very good and then he seemed to be gassed. Skills looked really good and he had a wicked shot on Marky. Conditioning might be a question. He was completely bent over when others were not.

Howden looked good at times but if today was cut day he would be gone.

Petrovic did not stand out at all either way.

You could see the difference with Dadanov over everyone. His awareness is far above the others (as it should be).

Marky gets really annoyed at letting in goals. This is funny because it rarely happened and even then it was in 2 on 0 drills.

Cheverie looked good and he will definitely compete for the Amerks back up spot. At first he seemed a little lost due the speed of the skating and shots coming at him.

Guds got hammered into the glass a couple times in the 2 on 2 drills. That seemed to wake him up a bit and he started going harder.

Berger was in the top half and he could go to Rochester.

Jenks Comrie and Robak were all noticeable from the others as well.

There are alot of guys out there so it's hard to say exactly who is doing what unless they really stand out. hopefully by what I've written you can see who does.

Overall nobody was head and shoulders above the others on a consistent basis. At least not enough to say "he's making the team." (Marky excluded)

I have to agree with most of your points Great8Cam. Especially the Gudbranson evaluation. I did not feel that he stood out that much over the other players. I have good video of him getting hit hard into the boards, but I also have good video of him dealing out some punishment!

Yeah he got popped good to the goalie's left near the entrance. He seemed a little unsure at times right at the start. It might just be expectations and nerves. But I think it's more the speed and quality of so many guys at one time and making that adjustment.

DT probably knew this and that's why we see so many D men brought in (Paetsch and Weaver).

Good interview! I like what he's saying. (for all u sorry people who dont get swedish very much, he is basically saying similar things to what we've read in interviews with GR and fialtov(correct?))

his goalie coach in sweden said that he expects jacob to maybe play "a couple" games in ahl, and after that florida wont be able to keep their hands off. he also called vokoun "decent" in comparison to markstrom

Thanks for the pics and the video, great stuff!

Oscar, thanks for the YT video. He sounds like a really down to earth guy, but still he has very high goals for himself. Like I've said for a long time, I think he's ready for the NHL at this point.

Also very happy that McFarland played so well, they've just started so I'm not worried about his condition.

Read that Comrie was maybe the best player overall at the first day (was it the panthers site?), very glad to hear it. He's a very underrated prospected. Drafted in a very good year for defencemen and played very well for Guelph Storm last season.

Thanks for the pics and videos Cliff, that's awesome. Markstrom looked pretty good there.

Can't wait to see how the rest goes. It will be interesting to see if Gudbranson can really turn things up a notch in the coming days. Perhaps it was just the nerves as some have pointed out.

College players can't attend these camps, otherwise they lose their NCAA eligibility. They can only attend prospect development camps, but not training camps.
