Horizontal-striped jerseys are like redheads. They're either really hot or really ugly with no middle ground.

And for every hot one there's 63 ugly ones to go through.

Everything I ever said about Terhaar and Greenlay I take back. I'd take them over this goof troop otherwise known as the Penguins' crew.

I don't even.... What is.... Just.... Uh.

They're bad but have one or two redeemable moments a game. That's more than Greenlay and Terhaar.

This recent Parise "news" is a bit humorous.

If we were any sort of self respecting homer fans, we'd start churning out crappy trade proposals by the hour...

Gaborik skated on his own this morning. First time since injury. Good sign, but he's still a couple of weeks away.

Versus' highest and lowest-rated games in October. There's a reason for the lower games, but that's not a fun pattern for Wild fans.

Well they'll just go to FSN and we'll have commentators drooling over the Wild rather than the other team.

EDIT: actually, a bit more research shows the three worst-rated games started at Noon and the fourth started at 3pm. They just need to stop this ridiculous overseas crap.

I doubt anything will change. The Twin Cities is still probably one of the best markets alongside Buffalo for a game going against MNF (and likely baseball).

Why again do we want our games on Versus? Nearly every provider I've seen, cable or satellite, requires you to buy their absolute most expensive package, with hundreds of channels you don't want, whereas almost all cable packages in the area have FSN, if I'm not mistaken.

Versus is pretty standard on Comcast as far as I know.

Versus is on the same tier as ESPN, ESPN2 and FSN for Comcast (which makes sense since it's owned by them) and it's on the second tier for Direct TV (which costs $5 more/month). It's not really as expensive as you're making it out to be.

As others have said, this just isn't the case.

Comcast owns Versus, so they want it offered to as many people as possible (and there's only a single tier cheaper than the tier with Versus - and you only get local channels)... And after the spat last year, both of the satellite providers bumped it down as a part of that deal.

Watched the Crosby fight and I'm insanely jealous of that kid's lower body and core strength. He just got low and was impossible to knock down. Absolutely nuts.

speaking of that, Jermain Franklin from Sportscentre made an interesting report about star players fighting.
