Trade 24-26th overall pick for 2nd rnders

The pick should be around 24-26 depending on the SCFs. Looking for picks in the 2nd round, prefer early. Am prepared to package the 1st with a 3rd for 2 good 2nds. Any interest?

carolina has the 38th pick, and toronto's (no idea - would it be after comp picks?). i would do that deal from the canes standpoint.

If someone who interested me fell to that range (Pens have pick 31 and pick 57 I think) I might, but only on the day of the draft. After maybe pick something like 15 I have heard it said that the difference between the picks is not great all the way well into the second round. Look on the various mock draft boards and the picks are all over the place from about pick 15 onward, and some have players that are picked deep into round two on other draft boards as first rounders, and vice versa. So as I said, it would depend on who was there, but overall I would stay where I was otherwise.

That is the way I'm looking at it. There could be 3 or 4 players I like available around 25. Chances are one or more would be available around mid 30s. Trade down and get the same player and a free pick.

There are always a couple teams willing to trade a late first for two 2nd rounders. I wouldn't be surprised if the Devils did that after losing their own 2nd rounder in the Hrdina trade. They traded a late first to Florida (Lukas Krajicek) and ended up getting Tuomas Pihlman and Igor Pohanka.

Dallas has done this a few times in the past in order to garner more picks. In 1998, the Devils traded up to Dallas' spot and was able to get Scott Gomez. Tampa traded down with Florida last year. Florida ended up with Anthony Stewart and Tampa got Mike Egener and somebody else.....

The Rangers will have four 2nd rounders now I think, so I wouldn't be surprised if they packaged a couple together to move up.

I could see someone like Dallas moving into the first round and they will have the ammon to do it with the comp pick they will get for vagner.

Hawks have 4 2nds (32, 41, 47(?) & 52 (?)). I doubt they'd give up 32 though.

NJ has either the 21st or 22nd, and I'd trade it for both of Carolina's seconds in a heartbeat.
