Wilson vs Hornqvist

Who gets more points this season?

I have to lean towards Patric on goals, but as far as overall points, any chance CW beats Horny?
Patric does not get many assists, but is a goal demon! I think Wilson will do abit of each.

Either one could easily lead this team in points I think.

Goals i think will be a dead heat, with Horny winning by the slightest of margains.

I dont think points will even be a contest. CW will have many more assists then Horny. This is hardly a knock on him, I just have high expectations for Wilson.

I think Colin is on the rise, while Patric may come back to Earth a little bit (20-25 goals). Im very excited to see them both in action again either way. DROP THE PUCK

I think the goal colum will be close. But if Wilson is on the wing and/or gets top line minutes I think he gets more points

For some reason I see Wilson taking a few years to fufill his offensive potential. Next year I'm going to say 15 goals and 30 assists compared to Horny's 30 goals and 25 assists. So for next year I say Patric. I hope to be surprised though by Colin.

Who knows. I also don't think Wilson will suddenly reach his career prime next season. So if he can get low 20's in goals and low 30 assists I'm guessing that I'll be thinking it's a very good year for him. Which would be 50-55 points. (I figure as a second year man he'll draw Coach Trotz ire now and then and get temporarily demoted to weaker lines and be expected to play more defense). I expect Hornqvist to be right around that number as well, 25-30 goals, 25-30 assists, 55+ points. This is if they both stay healthy. I think in just a couple more years Wilson will be a 70+ point man, maybe reach a ppg. All of the above is just guessing of course.

We need scoring by committee again along with a more effective powerplay. And a better kill. I think it will happen and we'll be a pretty good team. Drop the puck!

I hope thats not true! I think if he is excelling offensively, let him get er done!!
We all know what happened when Trotz put Erat on the ice in game 5 against the hawks.

I think Hornqvist can get the same amount of goals as last year if not more, he has such a passion for the game and loves playing it, and now he has a year of success under his belt to go with that. I would like to see him pick up on the assists a bit though.

I think this year, Horny whoops everyone in goals! Wilson whoops everyone in assists. Isn't Colin more of a playmaker anyways?? Any chance these two play together?
