Hang on to him and put him on IR as soon as Yahoo lists him as injured. Then you will have a free roster spot to pick up another forward, maybe Bobby Butler as he could have a big season this year with Ottawa and is still a free agent.
This is the SSH league you are in right? My team is "Jesus Lizard".
Thanks for the tip. It's probably not the worst thing to happen, but still semi-pissed me off all day yesterday. There will be some guys during the season that nobody expected to make any noise, but will shock everyone. This is a public league that I joined last year on Yahoo and the commissioner invited everyone back.

Talk about automatic Hall of Fame material...just saw 41-year-old Teemu Selanne resigned with the Ducks. Didn't realize he was 8th in league scoring last season with 80 pts...at age 40 that's a pretty damn good accomplishment.

I wonder what's going to happen in Winnipeg at 12/17 when Ducks are visiting Winnipeg?

Him and lidstrom have to be automatically inducted as soon as they are eligeble. It is incredible how those two can perform the way they do at their age. its unbelievable what they have accomplished

Winnipeg claimed Brett MacLean off waivers from the Coyotes. I was hoping we would have given him a shot here.

He had his shot, he was good at first but trailed off in his second year and didn't really recover.

Oh, well that's just confusing. Next you'll tell me there's a Nicklas Backstrom and a Niklas Backstrom, seriously.

There's a nifty trick to that one. Nicklas is the center.

Giroux and Jagr are looking great on the first line for Philly, showing some good chemistry early. Bryz made a couple nice saves and it looks like Philly will be a contender after all of their moves.

Yeah, they looked good tonight. Philly's one of my more hated teams, but I have to be honest, I'm looking forward to following them this season. They literally admitted that things weren't working, and they changed their mindset and team. Pretty cool, imo.

Yeah, I'm not a Philly fan but I've hated Boston since we traded Horton to them. I like Philly's team this year since Richards and Carcillo are gone and they have some exciting young guys. Wayne Simmonds and JVR were looking good too.

Heh, first game of the year and the Bolts announcers already talking about Carolina diving, and quite accurately doing so.

Some things never change.

Anyone else checking out Booth's debut for Van? He got the first shot on goal streaking down the left side and shooting from 20 feet away, we'll see if this works for the Nucks.

Yeah seems really weird watching him play for another team. And is it me or do both these teams look pretty crappy tonight.

Yeah, Van does not look like the same team I watched last year. Oilers are a complete mystery to me with all of the new young guys, so I don't really have an opinion on them.

Thanks for the link. Am enjoying the Oilers thumping the Nucks 3-0 with Louie getting pulled.

Booth had that one shot in the 1st period and then I walked off for a bit, watched a solid portion of 2nd (still on going)... doesn't look to be doing much since then.

Game one though. I'll say one thing, he just looks wrong in a Nucks uni.

Devils lose three in a row and 5 out of 6. How long a leash does Deboer get in an impatient market? 20 games or the whole season?
Plenty of time to turn it around.
