He suffered the concussion from hitting his head on the ice. They are still trying to figure out why he collapsed in the first place.
little bit of chatter in the main forum about that. apparently, tickets were very expensive. combine that with an unappealing matchup and competition in the form of several SEL games and i guess this is what you get. pretty embarrassing, though; send two of your teams to the other side of the globe to play a game in front of an AHL-sized crowd?

On top of that, the arena in Sweden only hold 14,000+. I remember when the Cats were in Helsinki last year, I was thinking about going, until I noticed how ridiculous the ticket prices were. It would have cost me about 1000 euros for a ticket to the game, round trip airfare, and a hotel. I would have loved to see the Cats here in Europe, but not for that price.
I think the whole thing about going overseas is ridiculous, though, I do like some of the HFers got to see them play last season.

Yup I saw that and I had the same first thought. Then my 2nd thought was that Grabner will now be in the lineup for the Isles and we'll see how he really does.
Also didnt see anyone mention it but Boston also re-signed Chara so he's off the market for next summer. Sounds like next summer is going to be even thinner than this past yr.
