Mark's got some video of the first couple of minutes of today's game

Vincour's deflection for his goal was definitely of the "I have a ton of skill and know how to use it" variety and not the "puck just hit me" variety. Keep an ear out for the local PA guy butchering his name. Not an enviable job.

It was hard to make out even in HD, but I think Larsen, Roman, and Jordie Benn have the As on their sweaters. Benn makes sense because he's one of the oldest there. Couldn't tell who, if anyone, was the captain.

I was asked by the thread starter to share some insight on the Stars vs Redwings since I'm in Traverse City for the Tourney. I didn't see the Private Message until after the game so I wasn't paying specific attention to much other than Jack Campbell. Needless to say the score pretty much told the story and the team in front of Campbell was pretty much ay half speed most of the game so I wouldn't blame him completely. Sorry I couldn't be more specific but if I get to see them play again I'll be sure to update you guys. There are some pics from that game here if you want to check them out http://prospectstournamentphotos.shutterfly.com/ Take note I'm a Rangers fan and my G/F who took the pics is a Wings fan so be forewarned

Hey, thanks anyway. Their performance wasn't anything to write home about.

The photo gallery was nice. Can see now that Sceviour is captaining them.

I'll be getting some pics from the Stars warmup before the game today since we'll be at the rink all day. I'll let you all know when they are uploaded.

It was a nice goal for sure. What is the correct pronunciation of Vincour?

Jack Campbell gets another crack at it today.

Scratches: Sceviour (must be injured), Neal, Monast, K. King, Tousignant

Also, Bob McKenzie is apparently in attendance and will be tweeting his thoughts on the game here.

Ahh, thanks. I'm pretty good with most Euro pronunciations, but for some reason Czech throws me.

Woah, this is kinda crazy -- the division the Stars are in (Detroit/St. Louis/Tampa Bay) has 5 WJC goalies from the past 2 years: Campbell + McCollum (USA) / Allen, Tokarski (Canada) / Janus (Slovakia)

If Dallas wins and St. Louis wins, assuming the first tie-breaker is head-to-head, Dallas will be first in the division.

Stars outshooting them 14-6 so far but Tampa's scored twice on those 6 shots... one on the PP, one at even strength.

Tampa's goalie is playing great and despite allowing the two goals Campbell is playing good.

The Medicine Hat connection of Coyle and King spoil Tokarski's shutout bid.

The Benn mention is very surprising.

Looks like its Stars vs Rangers for 5th/6th place today at 2:30. Stars got the win over the Blues so they got the tiebreaker to move up a position game. On twitter @naughtydog95 for updates from the game if interested.

It's a rematch of the old Owen Sound goaltending competition -- Besko vs. Stajcer.

New York scores, 1-0.

Stepan scores, not surprising, he should be the best player on the ice.
