I got a C in Intro to Psychology because the tests were unreal. There were literally 2 A's in a class of 140. I know this for a fact.

But then I can go on to ace advanced legal classes.

I have a test in BiSci1 tomorrow that consists of 9 short answer essays and a bunch of multiple choice. Like what the hell is this. This test is honestly harder than some of the tests I've had for my 400 level classes.

That was my experience too. Sometimes professor try a little too hard to weed out the slackers. But at this point in the semester, my God.

Anyone, other than Jules, have the ability to do a quick Photoshop for me?

I need the new Sabres' logo to have a gold-color background in a size to match this Flyers' logo. Can it be done?

Well, thank you. That was fast. It'll be put to good use. The site I extract logos still has the "slug."

My last semester was hell. Literally the worst time I've ever had in school. And it was all pretty pointless. I only enjoyed my design classes. And well, that's because I got to do cool stuff.

I think it would have looked better with blue background. After all, their uniforms are blue too.

Just watched Jurassic Park with RiffTrax, including Weird Al "Jurassic Park is frightening in the dark" Yankovic. Hilarious to say the least.

Anyone else see Greg Giraldo died yesterday?

Complications from an OD he had in his hotel room over the weekend. He was performing in New Brunswick, NJ, and I almost went to go see him this weekend. They found him because he didn't show up to his gig.

RIP, one of the regulars on Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn, and one of the best roasters around.

I'm surprised no one else posted it. He's on my long list of "Comics I must see." And now that's down the drain.

He apparently had a drug problem years ago but overcame it. Sounds like he may have relapsed. They said it wasn't a suicide attempt, and that he never regained consciousness after the found him over the weekend. His family was at least by his side.

He was supposed to perform at the Stress Factory, but as you can guess, they want no part of people knowing he was supposed to be there, even though he was pronounced dead at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital. I don't blame Vinnie, the owner. He's a hell of a nice guy, but really works hard to keep the reputation of his club a good one.

At Scranton, Psyc is a BS and not a BA.

Also, Scranton made it so ALL SCIENCE COURSES for SCIENCE MAJORS were hard as hell. Intro was tough to weed kids out, and then it literally never got any easier. As a freshie, the difference between regular Calc or Philosohpy and the Bio or Psyc courses was ridiculous. It was like night and day.

At Temple, so far, the Psyc courses (to me) are easier and Psyc is considered a BA I believe.

However, most course I have at Temple, so far, seem a lot more consistent with each other. While none have been a true challenge, I find that I have a lot more little things to do on a daily basis opposed to just marking the calendar with a few major test days and due dates a month.

My Bio 1 and 2 lab at Scranton were 1.5 credits each and I had to write 20+ pages for each, as well as do 3 "practicals" which were basically hell on earth. I got a 37 on the first one, out of 100. The class average was a 49. No curve was given. I eventually got my practical grades up to high 70's and low 80's and I aced the paper, but I still finished with a C-. And that wasn't even the lecture, just the ****ing LAB!

Lecture wasnt to bad, it was the tests that were rediculous. No attendance policy, just powerpoints. No papers. Just 4 exams and thats it. It's just that each exam was ****ing insane.

I love Bio but for the amount of time I put into it, I was not very happy with what I got back.

Iggy + Hawes + 1st?

Sure. Why not. The Sixers need a star, Iggy is a 2 and Brand is a shell of his former self.

I can see Denver taking it an running, considering Carmelo is being picky and they fully realize he could walk for nothing next offseason Lebron-style.

The deal of course would hinge on signing an extension though.

Like I said, I'd love to get Brand out of here, but this lineup

C - Brand
PF - Young
SF - Anthony
SG - Turner
PG - Holiday

With Williams, Speights and guys like Brackins on the bench, I see a lot of potential with this. If Brand stays healthy and plays his role, and Turner and Holiday can find more chemisty, this could be a solid lineup.

(Topic) Photoshop of the Sabres' logo above:

If someone wants to attempt that, then I'll compare the two. I thought the logo would blend too much with a similar-colored background.

I think the sixers would be better off trying to swap Iggy to Denver and then get Favors from the Nets. Thaddeus Young is a capable 3, though he can't defend to save his life.

I'd flip Young and Melo in that lineup, but yeah, it could be real strong if Turner and Jrue come along and Young gets consistent (which I think happens if he just gets regular minutes at the 3).

The idea of flipping Iguodala for Favors is intriguing too. That'd make for a hell of a young and potent lineup. Shouldn't have to give up Hawes in that deal either, which would be nice just to keep another young player with some potential.
