Teaser released today, full trailer on Thursday.

I'm stoked. Jurassic Park is one of my favourite movies.

I'm excited. This is a franchise that if done right, can have great staying power.

Only problem is, the first movie was done right before cgi completely took over films. Spielberg used a mix of special effects, and the movie was better because of it. The sequels went cgi heavy, and it suffered (combined with bad writing).

I doubt they go back to full animitronics, but, whatever they do, they need to capture that feeling of awe from the first one.

Bring John Williams score back! I know he didn't score the movie but please bring the iconic score back. Also everything about this movie looks great with the marketing and the casting with Chris Pratt. Can't wait for the movie.

So help me if they screw this up... I loved Jurassic Park. One of my favorite movies as a kid. I can still remember seeing it in the theater. That's back when I was young enough that going to the movies was still an amazing experience and not just something to do on a Saturday night. I was so pissed by the other two sequels. This movie has the potential to be amazing so I hope they don't let me (and everyone else) down.

So is Chris Pratt the most popular actor now?

Wouldn't say that at all, but he's definitely an A lister now. Went from supporting comedic role on Parks and movies to an A lister in, like, two year's time with The Lego Movie, Guardians of the Galaxy, and now this.

I've been keeping up with news regarding this movie and apparently they've gone back to animatronics as being the key component for quite a few of the Dinosaur scenes.

Not confident in this being any good given the people involved on the production side.

If this movie has those cliche scenes where obnoxious little affluent kids drown out the scenes with their yelling and screaming, i'm leaving the theatre

I'm more offended that it's always the weight-challenged and/or wealth-motivated males and nameless corporation workers that die in these movies. Let's see some innocent kids or pretty women get eaten for once.

Maybe call it Jurassic World DD or something. Also it needs a dog with shifty eyes.

First one was a classic. Lost World was good till Rex rampaged San Diego. I have nothing good to say about JP3 though

Two of my favorite actors (Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard) in a Jurassic Park movie, i honestly cant see how this could be bad. But i also had big hope for JP3...

I heard something about how the plot is based around a dinosaur that the park basically invented, so that's kind of concerning.

Was pretty disinterested when I first opened the thread, but seeing Pratt's involvement has certainly made me pay attention.
