Person of Interest is easily the best new show on TV right now. I'm also glad that I don't have to worry about it getting cancelled anymore. The show started off with roughly 13 million viewers per week, then dropped down to around 11 million per week, but now it's up to 15 million per week. I've never seen that happen to a show before.
Yeah, I saw that too. Great numbers for a show that definitely deserves them.
The thing I really enjoy about POI is that it seems the plot never stops evolving.
The show started out as a neat twist on a market saturated with crime dramas but it really has distanced itself due to all the carefully constructed interweaving plot-lines it has dropped in as the season progresses. Couple that with the advancement of Finch and Reese's back-stories they've introduced in the past few episodes and it's impossible to not find myself hooked.
The top-notch acting, writing and directing doesn't hurt either.
And Jim Caviezel's nonchalant one-liners after smashing into people are absolute gold. "Found your ride".... Very enjoyable character.
Fuscoe and Carter will probably never find out about one another, which lead to some tension I'm sure. We still don't know Reese or Finch's stories. they could be doing the good guy thing to make up for past wrongs where they were completely bad people.
Just saw last night's episode at random. Gonna have to catch up now, pretty cool show. Surprised that it's on CBS.
Yeah, has ABC written all over it. I'm glad it's not a procedural. It starts out that way, but it's Nolan and Abrams involved, they're gonna do solid work. I had no doubt. Lots of interesting characters and all seem to have levels to them. I thought Reese was just a stale character, but there's a lot more going on with that guy.
