If that is not a clear reference to Nieminen getting called and Sarich not getting called, I don't know what is.

These goaltenders are really good. It could easily be 5-3 Calgary right now.

Good bounce for Tampa on the goal too. It looked like the puck was going to be covered and not in until Gelinas bounced off of St. Louis and took his own goaltender out, knocking the puck in.

That's what happens when there are good scoring chances though. Chaos!

Anyone find it funny how whenever Saprykin gets on the ice, a CBC commentator remarks about his speed? He's done it around 6-7 times already, and half of them have been the same comment. Oh, the wonders of age.

Exactly, I want to see talk bout the game or i'm gonna seriously consider closing it down, and sending everyone to their team board.

Goalies are standing on their heads........as someone just said.

TB needs to have more puck possession or they will be looking at a deficit again.

You're kidding!

Gary Thorne has singled Saprykin out about half a dozen times already. THat's weird.

Saprykin deserves the kudos, he was flying.

Give it up already... anyone who gets slamed face first into the boards deserves as much time as it takes to get off the ice... either the guy is a ***** for staying down or a faker if he gets up... nice choice.

Nice Bobby Orr montage from Cherry on CBC.

You know, as much as people complain about the game today, I have to say looking at that montage, there doesn't seem like there was the same intensity then as now. Orr is just skating circles around people and no one seems to be trying to stop him, the goalies just kind of wave at the puck as it goes by...

Most definitely, he's his usual peppy self.

Nice to see my favorite player chip in with a point in his first game back

Gelinas had a self made breakaway and falls on his keister..............trying to get the puck back.........would been a nice play had he been able to stay on his feet, Score or not.

I don't think the call was missed at all. It was a judgement call, and they judged it not worthy of a penalty.

It's the same thing as last game, Calgary fans kept saying "Fraser missed the call on the 2 on 1". He didn't miss it at all. He judged it to be a dive.

Missing a call is a poor performance. Choosing not to call something is just a difference of opinion. *Big* difference.

Bulin just robbed Iggy on a great rebound chance to the side of the net.

Khabibulin just robbed a sure Iginla goal.

Anyway, Bob Cole is really getting old. First Gelinas was "upended", then two seconds later he changed his mind to "lost his footing"....then mistaking Afenisenkov (sp?) for St.Louis. One shoots left, the other shoots right. Can't be that hard, can it?

And, the high sticking thing... LOL. Which of those HAVEN'T been called? High sticking to the freaking upper shoulder and lower neck has been called in these playoffs. A stick to the jugular, therefore, should warrant some attention.

.
Look, I wasn't slagging the Flames for doing it, so quit with the paranoid attitude. And, sorry but Tampa wasnt' doing the same thing to the same degree... not saying Tampa NEVER DOES IT, but they weren't in the first period.

As for the sticks around the head area, there have been many in this series like that one that haven't been called... by both teams. Dam!

What the heck is with you? I praise the goal and the play of the Flames, and even say they are unlucky not to be up by several goals and still all you do is whine like I'm insulting the Flames?
